The 29-year-old man, also of Cambridge, later told detectives he was about 30 to 40 feet away from Nichols at the time, according to a police report...“It does provide a little information on some of the stress that may be on some people,” Cambridge police spokesman Jeremy Warnick told WFXT. “Certainly people have been in their homes for an extended period of time. We are going on six or seven weeks, which is a long period of time for a lot of people.”

Someone in my neighborhood's NextDoor made the comment that if you're walking down the sidewalk and see someone sitting on their front porch, you should move to the other side of the street.
