After a month with much of the country locked down, sheltered in place, and healthy at home, some states have begun lifting restrictions put in place to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Georgia has gotten the most attention, and for good reason. No governor has thrown open the doors to his states businesses as aggressively as Brian Kemp, whose decision to reopen the state first drew praise, and then criticism, from President Trump.
But many other states have either started or announced plans to allow previously shuttered businesses to operate once again, despite the warnings of some public-health experts. This is where that list stands, so far:

Kemp has thrown the doors open but people are still careful about the virus and are wearing masks and are social distancing (perhaps even more now). At Walmart yesterday, people seems more careful than ever to give others the right-of-way so as to keep their distance.
Acting governor, Amy Acton of Ohio has DeWine closing our state until end of May. Unbelievable...our state of Ohio will be in cinders. Swamp scum they are.
‘people seems more careful than ever to give others the right-of-way so as to keep their distance.’
all of a sudden, we all hate each other; okay by me, I was always anti-social...
Polite society....it’s almost as if everyone was armed. :)
Damn Cuomo....Here in Upstate except for Buffalo and Rochester, some towns have not have a new case for over a month.
When folks crowd me, I just go *cough* *cough*...and all of a sudden I’m no longer crowded.
‘Here in Upstate except for Buffalo and Rochester, some towns have not have a new case for over a month.’
same in the rural areas of PA; but the idiot Wolf has designated semi rural Lancaster County as part of the Greater Philly Region, and we will be the last region to ease restrictions...if that doesn’t get these wimps in the county to wake up, I don’t know what will...
It’s important that some states open, at least partially, to show that there WON’T be a flood of new corona cases just because they’re open.
We’ve seen it a bit already, with the protest rallies and crowds at the beach, and none of them came down with the virus ... though of course Big Media ignores that fact, preferring to maintain the Campaign of Fear that basically suggests that “anyone going outside will get sick and may die”.
With at least a few states open, they won’t be able to ignore it any more, and we can finally stop letting Big Media-Democrats terrorize the country!!
Eight States never closed and didn’t have an explosion of wuhan virus. Same with Sweden. Probably a combination of low population per sq mile and non-stupid people.
Well there was a HUGH protest in Lansing, MI yesterday.
Yes. And also focusing on only sheltering in place only the most varnable.
Connecticut will begin the process on May 20th.
I observed the same at Kroger, ingles, and Home Depot.
It’s like here in N Ga people have a brain and a sense of responsibility.
only as “the controversial drug touted by Trump” (along with bad news/results/death)
Bet the MSM isn’t talking about that gush tank cleaner chugging couple now that it’s turned into a homicide investigation.
Just FYI, some stores will throw you out for that.
people seems more careful than ever to give others the right-of-way so as to keep their distance.
all of a sudden, we all hate each other; okay by me, I was always anti-social... >> deviant distancing
So a store will throw a person out for clearing his throat but not for disregarding the 6’ social distancing rule?
I see the same thing. Majority of people are careful, not reckless. Ordering people around is not the way to motivate them.
