New York state joined forces with New Jersey and Connecticut to roll out a tri-state contact tracing program with the aim of preventing a future spike in novel coronavirus infections, according to NBC New York.
Apple and Google Coronavirus Tool Business Insider Intelligence The initiative will be supported by $10.5 million in funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies, and is currently under development in collaboration with researchers from Johns Hopkins University. For context, contact tracing refers to public health workers' efforts to track down lists of people who have come into contact with coronavirus infected patients as soon as poss

Badges? I dont have to show you no stinkin badges
An empty foil potato chip bag is your friend.
So is disabling “location services” in settings.
What if we don't have one - would we be made to leave and live outside of town like infected hermits?
What if you power down your phone and leave it in a drawer ?
I think that would be considered "probable cause", and may result in a Hellfire missile into your drawer.
Johns Hopkins? Not only in the pocket of both Big Pharma and the CIA, but the lead organizer for Gates’s Event 201.
Creepy.
I kept my flip phone. It doesn’t DO apps.
Thank God I don’t live in the Soviet Socialist Republic of New York City.
“contact tracing” is pointless: a large (and growing) portion of the population is infected without symptoms and doesn’t even know it, in fact, the only way herd immunity develops is for over 50% of the population to be infected ...
Long story short ...
The reason these three states are collaborating on this is that theres a growing sense that NYCs mass transit system can no longer function without some kind of intrusive health surveillance measures in place.
Good luck with that.
Yep, lotsa luck. All it takes it for one unmonitored case to jump the turnstyles and cough on the other passengers.
Yesterday I was in on an interactive video town hall with Sen Gillibrand and Rep Katko (from Syracuse), re: Chi Com Flu and what these 2 intend or propose to do about it.
As for this tracing - this is what they showed on screen :
They showed a Google map with lots of pin dots, and each pin had someone’s face and personal information. The pin dot selected had a picture of someone’s face, like the pics on FaceBook or whatever, and vital, personal info.
They said the proposal is to have Tracking that DOES identify people who have tested positive, where they live, where they go, and who their contacts are.
NOT anonymous.
Also, they intend to train thousands of displaced workers to be Trackers and work on the Tracking Project.
And this is what they will do with all this “Testing” - get tested, get put into the tracking system that i assume uses your cell phone, tracking, and Blue Tooth to alert authorities as to what you’re up to every minute.
Remember, Google was given THOUSANDS (500,000+) of medical records in November. Pretty amazing timing, eh? :/
So much for “Anonymous Tracing”.
I asked them “Doesn’t this tracking amount to illegal searches? Do you think people will put up with the intrusiveness of this proposal?” .
There was no answer.
I’m so sorry I didn’t think to get screen shots. I’m looking for a replay online.
It’s a small step from maintaining data on who may have come into contact with someone infected with COVID-19 to maintaining data on who went to the wrong gathering of politically like minded individuals.
Again, the way to stop this is to tie it to the vote. Push for using this technology to keep track of an ensure that people only vote once. Push this hard enough and the people tracking system will be scrapped.
