The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning doctors against prescribing a malaria drug widely touted by President Donald Trump for treating the new coronavirus outside of hospitals or research settings.
In an alert Friday, regulators flagged reports of serious side effects and death among patients taking hydroxychloroquine and the related drug chloroquine. The drugs, also prescribed for lupus, can cause a number of side effects, including heart rhythm problems, severely low blood pressure and muscle or nerve damage.

By the way, they might ask how many lupus patients are actually getting china virus. Because I saw a doctor who runs treats hundreds of lupus patients and he said that none have gotten the virus (as of a couple of weeks ago). Hmmm.

Look at the study, they added 19 dying patients to the HC cohort and completely changed the result. (Compare table 4 to the results on page 2) and even though the HC cohort was already less healthy to start with.
Remdesivir.....$1000 a dose.
Hydroxychloroquine....$20 a dose.

One interesting addition is that the doctor on LI’s show mentioned he is dosing HC by the patient’s weight.
President Trump said himself that if you had heart problems, you shouldn’t use it.

Which doctor? Which hospital? Facts make a difference and the media is not providing any facts relevant to these drugs.
Sounds like the junked up AMA journal report from South America. I read that one and it is so fake and incompetent, like a 5th grade class conducting a study.
this is the gist of the report: “In one such report, doctors at a New York hospital said that heart rhythm abnormalities developed in most of the 84 coronavirus patients treated with hydroxychloroquine and the antibiotic azithromycin, a combo Trump has promoted.”
So now we act based on 84 reported problems-the real key si because Trump has promoted it.

Yes of course, any drug has risks. A ham sandwich has risks just ask Mamma Cass.
4 out of 5 people put on ventilators die. Nobody is questioning the use of ventilators though. Why?
The studies showing risks of HQC are in the main among the very sick and people with existing conditions. The evidence we have, “anecdotal” as it is, is to give the drug combination as early as possible, upon onset of symptoms or upon diagnoses with risk factors. If you wait until a person has to go to the ICU and get put on a ventilator you are already way too late.
HQC+AZ+Z work together in several ways, altering the pH in the body, preventing infection, and blocking the cell receptors the virus binds to. This slows down viral replication and allows the body time to build its own natural immune response. That’s why you have to give it early, not when a person is already near death. They all know this. If I know it, they know it.
