I’m for this concept, so long as only registered voters are able to cast a ballot, prove that the ballot they cast was a decision made by them in sound mind, and that all cast ballots are counted precisely once, and cast on a single day in absolute privacy and security. I would also stipulate that all mechanisms for automatic federal tax withholding be rescinded and replaced with a yearly federal tax bill due two weeks before election day.

Hey Jugears, in case you've forgotten, the USA is not a democracy, thank God, it's a Republic.
My wife and I vote every election, including primaries. I have not missed one in 25 years.
My four adult sons, never vote. I will be asking for a mail in ballot for both of them. When it comes in, I will simply write in their names and vote for Trump.
When the ballot is delivered to the precinct, how do I know it will be counted (or lost in the mail)?

I live in New York which is supposedly the most infected state in the country, more infected than even entire nations yet I don’t know ONE person who is infected neither does my family or friends.
Only if voter ID becomes a federal law. Mail in voting should not be discussed unless voter ID is the other half the package.
