Bingo! When our local insane Californians were pushing this insanity a couple of years ago I told a few local elite dems, that they were committing suicide.
The National Democratic party and George $oreA$$ would put a hit out on any democrat, seriously pushing for a separation for California..
That would be the end of the Democratic party if California seceded.
They would never win an electoral college again with the loss of California as a state. Also,they would lose control of the house as California would most of their dem congressits and their two $inators.
That would invite two more separate states with 4 republican senators and a lot of republican house members.
Then, the new state would die without water from the north and food from the valley.
Next, I told them do the math and make our day/week/month/Decades by seceding.
Also, I would sign any petition to have California secede.
So, no need for federal funds?

Mr. Newsom is a fraud. Mr. Newsom must think we the people are totally ignorant of the Constitution to the point he believes we’ll react in his favor when he lies about the responsibilities of the Fed vs the States in acquisition of the supplies in question.
The President has been more than generous with his, and his staff’s time, and energy on behalf of too many Blue States with half assed Blue management such as California, and New York.
