A conservative group on Friday accused New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio of being anti-Christian after he questioned whether the 68-bed field hospital set up in Central Park by Samaritan's Purse, an organization run by Franklin Graham, would treat all patients equally.
William Donohue, the president and CEO of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, slammed de Blasio and several other New York leaders for questioning the motives behind Graham's gesture.
"When [de Blasio] first learned of the relief efforts of Samaritan's Purse, he acted as if New York has been invaded by a hostile force," Donohue told Fox News.

Exactly. Glad this (orthodox, believing) Catholic group is supporting this (orthodox, believing) Protestant group that is doing a fantastic job.
They realize that the secular Leftists are at war with Christianity as a whole. The Left want Christians to go away, stay in their ghettos, even (some are finally bold enough to admit it) get shipped out to the camps. Whether observant Catholic or Protestant it does not matter. And it goes to another level as well. Not just fighting flesh and blood, but also principalities and powers. Which means get on your knees and pray.
Remember at the Battle of Lepanto, the ships opposing the Ottoman fleet had someone at the bow praying. God honored that prayer and the Ottoman fleet was defeated, even though the Holy League was outnumbered. And I point that out being a Baptist Christian.
Amen to that.
Incidentally, evangelical groups have supported Donahue and his defense of Christianity in New York for many years.
They are taking covid patients. DeBlasio said that’s not where the covid patients are. I guess ambulance drivers are unable to find Central Park

Now, he’d rather have New Yorkers die than be treated by Christians.

Franklin Graham is doing the Lord’s work and this Catholic hopes his bishops will learn something.
The Battle of Lepanto is something every Christian should remember, especially now when we are fighting against so many forces.
De Blasio did that because of pressure from this gay State Senator, Brad Hoylman. The gay movement is very powerful in NYC, and when Hoylman says do something, the politicians jump.
The evangelical groups have been good. Cardinal O’Connor, a very holy man, encouraged us all to go to Billy Graham’s gathering in Central Park in long-ago 1991.
DeBlasio probably doesn’t know where Central Park is.
The Catholic bishops have totally dropped the ball on this. They have a lot to learn!
We must not permit those Christians to pollute the minds, even by association, of dying people.
