The Chicoms developed a perfect “final solution” for their demographic issues, issues which they brought on themselves through their essentially suicidal one-child policy.
1) Too many elders and not enough working people.
The Chinese Flu mostly kills the elderly.

The Chinese Flu spares the young and uses them as vectors.
3) Too many women and not enough wives.
The Chinese Flu kills proportionately more men than women.

Give it a rest. The death rate for those under 40 is 0.2. They aren’t any more at risk of death than they are from the flu. And you have no problem with the livelihood being taken away because you think that means less risk for you. That is selfish.

0.2% is about twice the fatality rate of regular flu (reg. flu 0.1% to 0.14%).

0.2 is CONFIRMED cases. That actual rate is probably less than the seasonal flu for those 10-40. And, not a child under 10 has died.

We cannot contain the flu. It’s everywhere, endemic, ubiquitous. But we have some herd immunity and vaccines.
None of those things is true about CCP-19, AND it is 20 times as deadly. Right now, even with all the measures in place for mitigation, it’s killing people 10 or 11 times as fast as the flu. Not on a per case basis, but in absolute numbers. So that’s 11 or 12 flu seasons all at once. Our HCS is not designed for that. And that’s with somewhere around 1% of the population infected, most presymptomatic but well able to infect others..
Scale that up to the 20% that normally get the flu. Or the 50% some think are enough to provide at least some herd immunity. Or the 70% that is the low end estimate for penetrance of a “novel” virus in an unvaccinated, no immunity population without mitigation.

Someone should tell Jim Hoft that the CDC says on their own website they on’t know how many died from the flu each year. They just estimate it, and also retroactively estimate based on new models. At least the numbers we have with coronavirus infected and deaths are actually people and not silly theories.

First, 0.2 is twice the average fatality for all flu cases. What you’re claiming, and which you know to be false (aren’t you the pear guy?), is that a fatality rate for the under forty crowd from CCP-19 is no greater than for the flu when the number you provide is twice the fatality rate for all ages for the flu. Including old people with preexisting conditions.
Common Core math, I guess.

I’m not here about risk to me. There isn’t any, unless you FluBros keep up with your antics and ruin the 30 Days like you guys did the 15 Days, and crash the HCS and economy. We’re sufficiently secure and did our prep while you guys were still mumbling into your navel lint. I’m simply trying to save the uninformed from the stupid.
There is no damn good reason those under 40 shouldn't be allowed to work especially once hospital capacity, testing and the number of ventilators increase. That needs to happen in weeks, not months. And, other healthy middle aged people should have the option.
