They had a condition not a terminal disease. Does America just say “ you’re diabetic, hypertensive, overweight...you’re expendable”. That is a very Progressive attitude. The researchers at Cold Spring Harbor lab in the 20s an 30s would approve. After all Cold Spring Labs was the true birthplace of The Holocaust.

60% of all American adults have an underlying health problem. Most of them are living useful lives and don’t deserve to die.

Is there anyone over the age of 50 that doesn’t have at least one of these? I’m 62 and I am in the best shape of my life. Normal weight. 25 years since I quit smoking. Very active. Unfortunately, I am pre-diabetic according to fasting glucose (but not a1c). Have been for at least 15 years.
I’ve been telling my wife that. A huge number of people having problems with this virus already have health problems and/or are smokers.

Fact remains, 99% of Italian coronavirus dead had other serious diseases plus they had average age of over 79.
That is higher than the average life expectancy. So they have already lived longer than normal.
We all have to die sometime , even after the best medical treatment, especially at that age We don't live forever.

Yes I read that MOST Americans over the age of 40 have high blood pressure and don’t know it as they have no symptoms. High blood pressure is a big underlying condition. . .
