After a shocking turnaround in his campaign — he was nearly left for dead after his crushing defeat in New Hampshire, only to become the presumptive nominee after Super Tuesday — Joe Biden was ready to pivot to a general election campaign against President Trump.
But then the coronavirus hit the United States, and the ex-veep’s campaign has struggled mightily to deal with the political fallout.
Trump has utterly eclipsed his would-be rival. And when Biden has been heard from, he has looked frankly pathetic. After disappearing for more than a week after his primary victories in Missouri, Michigan and Washington, Biden emerged this week for a series of speeches and interviews from his Wilmington, Del., home.
This would be a major challenge for a Winston Churchill or Franklin Roosevelt. For Biden, it turned out to be impossible. His public statements this week have been unfocused, error-ridden, full of awkward gaffes. They ran directly contrary to the message that his campaign is trying to convey: that he is battle-tested and ready to handle any crisis. Unsurprisingly, the Biden campaign canceled a major address.
So what is his team going to do? Probably very little for now. The news is all coronavirus, all the time. If Biden doesn’t have anything productive to add to that conversation, he isn’t going to be involved in it.

Biden is killing Biden.
This event is just bringing out the real him.
Plus he’s got serious neurological problems and that isn’t helping him, no one is giving him cover like they did Hillary.
coronavirus has nothing to do with Biden looking like a fool. He looked like a fool decades before the virus came along.

Heck, when the 2007 crisis hit, McCain suspended his damn campaign. Now it’s the Democrats’ turn to have a loser who has no real ability to lead.

At the rate things are going, the Democrats just might nominate COVID-19 as their best chance to beat Trump.

Biden is slowly losing his mind due to demential, Alzheimers’, etc.
Cuomo is now making his early moves to be proclaimed Biden’s’ successor as the Democrat Party’s presidential nominee. Be
Bernie the Red will probably be offered the position of Secy of Labor or presidential advisor on Labor issues as a sop to him for telling his supporters to support Cuomo/DP.
Cuomo has turned on Pres. Trump AT THE WRONG TIME and it is being resisted for various reasons by the less insane Democrat Left including Sen. Gillibrand (D-NY).
Let’s see how many more attacks The Godfather of New York makes on Trump over the Coronavirus situation. If he got the DP/DNC message, they will stop now. If his ego has got him by the balls and is squeezing, they will continue and possibly escalate.
I’ll take “Escalation” for $1,000 Alex. In fact I’m praying for it. Let him self-destruct.
