I got to spend a couple of weeks there on a forest fire close to 20 years ago. It was a very interesting place. Lots of cartridges, live and spent lying around. I got a helicopter ride to a lookout tower to replace the repeater batteries. There was barely enough room to walk around the nose and there was no problem with walking into the tail rotor - there was nearly 100 feet of empty space under the tail boom...

Well, I had to call Simplisafe and give them my password again because I inadvertently forgot to disarm the alarm this morning when I took Gizmo to the bathroom. Last time it happened was back in November. This time I was able to get it taken care of before they called my brother in Texas.

We did have fun at the lake yesterday. Pictures....

I envy you that sunshine y’all enjoyed. Looks delightful. They SAY we have some coming but we have to get through some nasty, stormy weather today to get there.

It's bad in Cali.

We're getting a break from the rain, which
I hope will allow the lawn to dry a bit; however, more rain on the way for Wednesday.
This is not helping our walking exercise. And gyms are close, soooooo...

I heard President Trump saying, last night, that they're looking
to start easing out of this crisis.
He (they?) doesn't want the cure to be worse than the illness.

Spent a lot of time at Ft Hungry lizard in the 90s doing testing. The squirrels lived in burrows, never saw one in the trees. Often had to stop the car and wait as the Elk herd crossed the road.

Was staying at a hotel in King city, a deer took out my rental car one night.
