If this is so then it’s best to end the social distancing and sheltering in place. Protect the vulnerable and get back to work. If you are going to get it then get it over with. Current methods only stretch out the pain. Have virus parties.

Usually secretive in the bowels of Albany, bullying people from behind the curtains, he finally has a chance to get in front of his adoring press and pontificate while he systematically destroys the NY economy.
What don’t they mention? That 90% of those tested (you have to be “sick” to be tested) are negative in the US!
While every death is tragic, put it in perspective: we average 7,500 deaths a DAY in this country (before this); over several weeks the number of COVID-19 deaths in the US equal less than 5% of the average daily deaths in this country!
They downplay that there is an effective way to treat the illness (French published a more detailed study yesterday), but the FDA wants to run weeks of study to determine the dosage.
Trump and the American People will be demanding the Government permit (encourage!) the use of hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin (to long used and tested medicines) within a week or two. Doctors can actually prescribe now; but many hesitate.) You kidding me! Will be a game changer and will (if cooler heads prevail) start the end of this madness.

I saw a terrifying video today of Spanish mounted police in Madrid pursuing a jogger who had “broken quarantine” to go run in the street. Cuomo is no doubt lusting for such power.

the virus is cured by malaria drugs...well, its not fda approved so you can't use it.....well I guess it does work and drs can order it...
but the malaria drug has horrible side effects...well, its been used for decades...
well the number of cases is exploding...well,we 're testing far more and the number of deaths is decreasing...

Consider, what are the life and health risks of 15 - 20 - 25 percent unemployment? Alcoholism, drug abuse, spousal/child abuse, child neglect, despair and OPPORTUNITY COST. At some point prevention of spread will be more deadly than spread. I don’t think we’re there, but we will be soon.
Ok...so this is going to sound very cruel, but if your over 70 years old you’ve lived. You can’t rob younger generations of prosperity...the young their opportunity. (Besides, you’ve already left them $20 trillion in debt.)

Last night on Judge Jeanine the head of NY’s Presbyterian Hospitals said it was bad now but they expect it to peak in 3 weeks (15 April).
From what I see around me, (with a pharmacist’s eye) everyone is taking extraordinary precautions.
It wouldn’t surprise me to see this thing fizzle out like a Cat 5 hurricane that swerves away from the coast.
If he was certain of that, hw wouldn’t say it to the press. He’d hold those cards close to the vest - to put in play later.
This is absolute insanity. The further we dive into it, the more I believe this is contrived nonsense. There’s an ulterior motive here. I truly, deep down in my heart, believe this. If Trump caves and issues any sort of mandatory stay-at-home order, this nation will never recover. Like un-Constitutional laws passed by previous administrations, getting rid of bad law is incredibly difficult. Plunging us into martial law will never be rescinded. We’re living in the stuff of fiction right now.
