Well, here’s a boat load of grim evidence from Italy. They’re not abandoning everyone 60 and over now just for the heck of it. We’re seeing what this thing can do if not taken seriously (which it wasn’t at first in Italy) and allowed to run unconstrained for a while before clamping down.

Here is the context.

Italy is the basket case of Europe; a heavily socialized state with Socialized Medicine. Italy is on the brink of default and has been for decades.

Italy has the second oldest population in the World. That population has a high tendency to smoke heavily.

Maybe it isn’t COVID-19 that is causing Italy’s high death rate but socialism.

Over 70 for sure will be dead. Pre-existing conditions? Maybe.

Agree - if they went out, they were spewing virons like mad...and no hospital room for them. So they kept them welded-in, at least until those huge hospices were completed (what they called ‘hospitals’).

You get creative.

My wife is a Respiratory Therapist. There has been a study that demonstrated that up to Four patients can be maintained by one ventilator machine.

It is not approved by the FDA to do this but if it saves lives you do it and deal with the FDA later.

How do they decide who lives and dies?.

Battlefield Triage. You do the best with what you have.

My point in my above post is; don’t be panicked by Italy’s situation when it does not apply to what is going on in the US.

There’s a handful of drugs which become dangerous if stored for a long time, but the worst case for the vast majority of drugs is that they become less effective or ineffective.

I’ve been on blood pressure meds that are 4 years old*...working fine.

*I used a number of techniques to build up a decent supply of them over the years (because I’m paranoid), which ‘forces’ me to consume my older supply continuously.

Good reason to obtain and keep truthful history books on every topic, and use them to teach the young ones. They’re killing the old ones who have wisdom and knowledge. That is how you got an Idiocracy. No I would not be surprised if this was biowarfare, and meant to kill the wise ones. Weren’t the Great Halls of Science working on exactly that kind of weapon a few years ago? What will kill particular groups of people?
