So then, there are four of us.

More info on lower body temperatures - If it ever drops below 96, there could be a problem:

It’s the same old loop.

Now I’m concerned it’s been so long that they’ll find something :)

I also have the fake tough guy attitude “if I get cancer, so what, no one lives forever”

But i’ll cry like a little girl if i do get it lol

You’re a good man so I am quite blunt about my shortcomings when I post to you on subjects like this :)

I remember when I first started reading your posts. I thought to myself “this guy acts too much like a stand up guy. Must be a catch”

There isn’t. You’re a stand up guy.

In my Staten Island neighborhood, that’s about the highest compliment you can get.

ciao

Temps are variable. Look at the dem party, half are room temp, the other halve 212 and some are cryogenic like RBG.

Me too

Rare is a woman who likes sleeping temp as low as I do

Except fat ones

And they ain’t usually in my bed unless they have our baby inside them growing

And pregnant women run super hot temp wise....I mean throwing the covers off and that leg twitch hot

And yes if it’s my woman I find them irresistible so ripened ....I loved that era of my life

heh. I found an old electronic thermometer (ear), put a new battery in and it ranged from 97.5 to 97.7 for me. So it was repeatable but low.

I found a glass thermometer and stuck it under my tongue for 3 minutes like it said. Came back 95 something! Put it back in for another 2 minutes and focused on keeping my mouth closed. 97.6.

Me too, I figure as long as my body temperature is higher than my age, I'm okay. ☺

Now that we are REALLY old, any body temp above room temp is great news.

Perfect comment.

Yeah, sounds about like what I'd probably do.

We all like to think we're invincible, tough enough to ride it out.

Down deep inside, we're all pussies when it comes to bad health,
once we come down with it.

I will say this though, I don't fear death. I've been pretty
close to it a few times. It didn't bother me. I don't fear it now.
I think of death as a friend I have yet to meet.

For my first forty years I just didn't cry much. I might get a few
tears if it was something really important.

Then in 1992, I had two back to back near death experiences. For
some reason, that changed me.

I'd never avoided crying, but there are times now when the tears
flow. Doesn't bother me. It's just interesting how I changed.

I watch some of the Asian novellas (I call them) and tear up.
I never would have done that in my first 40 years.

As for your compliments, thanks. We all have our shortcomings.
I try to be a stand up person, but I fail at times.

I appreciate your open comments, and give you credit for being
able and willing to do that. I appreciate it.

PTSD. There are support groups that are very good at helping people that suffer from it. Please seek one out. Even mild PTSD can have effects that go beyond what you describe. It impacts one’s behavior in many ways - not in a positive manner.
