Mitt Romney called on the federal government to send every adult $1,000 immediately to help cope financially with the economic damage caused by the spread of the coronavirus.
“Every American adult should immediately receive $1,000 to help ensure families and workers can meet their short-term obligations and increase spending in the economy,” Romney, a Utah Republican senator and 2012 presidential nominee, said in a statement.

What a stupid idiot! That only dilutes the purchasing power of money and means that it takes more money to buy things. Then the folks demand another thousand, or two, and on it goes.
It’s OUR money that the government has. To give 1000 to every adult, it needs to collect 3-4000 from every working person. So working people get a shaft up the xxx as usual, and the indolent get some spending money.
The government doesn’t create money. It prints more bills, causing an immediate drop in the buying power of EVERY dollar in existence.
It’s not so crazy. This was done during the Bush Administration following the crash of ‘08.
And don't forget the illegals.

It’s called unemployment insurance numbnuts.
If someone is working and is suddenly out of work, that’s what unemployment insurance is for. For the layabouts on welfare, what’s the difference? They still get to use the government to steal my hard-earned money so they can lay about masturbating and playing video games while I work for a living.
