Nolte: Ex-Obama Official Reports It’s Too Late to Stop ‘over 1 Million’ U.S. Coronavirus Deaths
Breitbart ^ | 15 Mar 2020 | JOHN NOLTE

Posted on 03/15/2020 11:29:27 AM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

This follow-up to my March 12 coronavirus piece comes with the same important caveats, important enough that I’m stating them up front: I’m not here to alarm anyone, and I am not here to scoff. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I do know what our experts are saying, and this is me reporting what the experts are saying.

Andrew Slavitt, Barack Obama’s former acting administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), is quoting experts who say more than one million Americans are already doomed because the “virus was not contained.”

“Currently experts expect over 1 million deaths in the U.S. since the virus was not contained & we cannot even test for it,” Slavitt tweeted Thursday. “The original sin is Trump’s months long denial and his dismantling of public health and response infrastructure.”

Let’s be very clear about what Slavitt is saying…

AT THE VERY LEAST, ONE MILLION AMERICANS WILL DIE NO MATTER WHAT WE DO NEXT

In no uncertain terms, using these experts, Slavitt is saying that it is already too late to save a million Americans, and that more than one million Americans will be dead in the next 12 to 18 months.

He is saying that no matter what we do to contain and mitigate, no matter what we do going forward, it is fait accompli that more than one million Americans will die and that this is all President Trump’s fault.

Let’s be just as clear about who Slavitt is…

Yes I did read your entire post.
It was very clear and informative.

I guess I was broadcasting more than directing my comment to you.

Lately, conversations regarding this issue has been absolutely madness.

For example, I read your post, smart and worthwhile. I scroll down and suddenly a pic of zombies, scroll more “this is a deep state ploy”, scroll more another informative post.

Sorry for the error. Thank for posting. Excuse my senior moment.

Iran....God knows....no news

They completely quit reporting new cases a few days ago.

My mistake. It was recoveries in Iran that were unchanged for several days.

Scaremongering should be a major crime.

Probably some good lawyers and a lot of hungry lawyers are looking the Corona internet postings as a future pot gold for them!

From Wiki:
“ Slavitt graduated from both The College of Arts and Sciences and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1988, and earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1993.[4]
After graduating from college, he was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs; after receiving his MBA he joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant.[5][6] In 1999 he founded Health Allies, a healthcare company, and served as its CEO until 2003, when the company was acquired by UnitedHealth Group[7][8] where he served as CEO of OptumInsight and the Group Executive Vice President for Optum, subsidiaries of UnitedHealth Group.[7][8]”

Yes, there has been a fast test for this virus,, but our old rules concerning any test approval by the Obama/Biden thugs have kept this test out of America.

Thanks to President Trump that is changing.

Shares of Swiss drug maker Roche rise after FDA approval for corona virus test!

The company says the tests are able to provide results in 3-½ hours.

This approval for Roche means millions of tests a month will be available to help boost capacity for diagnosis of the flu-like virus.

Shares of Swiss diagnostics and pharmaceutical giant Roche rose 3% Friday after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued emergency authorization for their COVID-19 test.

These highly automated tests, which the company says are able to provide results in 3-½ hours, can be run on Roche’s fully-automated machines which are already installed in hospitals and laboratories across the U.S. and around the world.

Roche was the first company to supply tests to diagnose the coronavirus in China.

The drug giant was able to lean on its experience dealing with the SARS virus outbreak which also originated in China. Speaking to CNBC in January, CEO Severin Schwan said the company’s focus was to bring the necessary diagnostic platforms and test to the point of care.

Testing for the virus is one of the primary concerns in the United States at this stage. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a total of just over 11,000 specimens have been tested since January.

By contrast, a total of almost 30,000 people have been tested for the virus in the United Kingdom, while nearly 20,000 people are being tested for the virus everyday in South Korea.

This USA approval for Roche means millions of tests a month will now be available to help boost capacity for diagnosis of the flu-like virus.

Beyond diagnostics, Roche has also been involved in the fight against corona virus complications.

Earlier this month, China approved use of the Swiss drugmaker’s anti-inflammatory drug Actemra to treat patients with aggressive immune reactions to the virus.

Wonder if our president used the Roche Diagnostic test?

Well, you're living down to your username. All the six people in the ICU with Coronavirus in New Jersey, so far, and the epidemic is young, are between the ages of 28 and 45.

China lies and 40 emergency incinerators in Wuhan can be seen belching out their sulfur dioxide on the pollution tracking maps. What is happening in Italy gives us a clue as to what is really happening in China.

Another libtard who has trouble with basic math.

Right now the mortality rate for covid-19 is running about 3%. That's through some regions that have questionable healthcare.

In order to get a million deaths at 3% mortality rate you'd need to have roughly 34 million people infected.

To get 34 million infected out of our population of 327 million that means roughly a 10% infection rate.

10% is an unreasonably high number. Insane. Even in China where this all started the infection rate is running at 0.005%. So yes, we'd have to experience over 3 orders of magnitude higher infection rate than China. For you scientifically challenged lib lurkers out there that is over 1000x higher infection rate. Literally 1 person in 10 coming down with it - in a Country that is already virtually shut down. No way, simply not possible.

Libtards - just trying to fuel the fires of fear and hurt the President.

He didn’t say there were only 6 people in NJ with the virus; he said that of the 6 people currently in NJ with the virus who are in an ICU, their age ranges are 28 to 45.

I’ll bet those numbers are dated though.
