Appeals are expensive. Pardons are cheap.

....Bongino thinks Barr is about to drop the hammer.....Ive listened to his podcast. The keyword there is thinks. Boningo offers exactly zero DOJ sources to back up his wishes and claims. He is only spouting what he hopes will happen. He bases it on nothing else.

He lied and threatened a witness. Put that tweet with a gun to judges head. I think his sentence should be commuted not pardoned.

That’s three years and four months, a far cry from the eight to nine years that the persecution originally wanted.

“He’s an arrogant jerk who thought he was above the law.”
You don’t have a clue. First of all, no one who knows him has, of yet, described him as such.
And he lied to Congress? The largest collection of liars and shysters in the country who tried to mount a coup against Trump. Of course, who knows if he really lied to Congress. Hauling him up to the authorities was a blatant lie.
Were you equally offended that McCabe, after being certified as lying to the FBI, etc., was not thought guilty enough by Barr to bother with?

I guess it's supposed to be crosshiars when the media crops it. Shades of what they tried to do to Palin.

“He lied and threatened a witness. “
Actually, the witness denied it. And what “lies”? Did he incorrectly remember what he was wearing on a certain date?

I wonder if Barr would have kept his mouth shut and if Trump had not pressured Barr through tweets - if Stone would have gotten the full 7-9 years. That's Trump making it easy for Barr to do his job.
To: Fury
Stone is a jackass, but the selective prosecution and the egregious behavior of the judge, the prosecutors and the foreman of the jury can’t be justified because he’s a jackass.
To: struggle
After the news on Stone with 40 months and the Dem Debate Pres Trump will have a lot to say tonight at the Colorado Springs Rally. Stay tuned.

I thought they withdrew the 7-9 year recommendation. Did they change it to 3 1/2 or did the judge just pull that number out of her butt?
That’s basically what the guideline calculations say, without the gaming of the calculations to include ‘threatening a witness’. 36-46 months.
It’s still way more than typical, especially given that proving he was lying meant he didn’t do the thing that was being investigated.

Hi.
Methinks the President will pardon Mr. Stone at the next democrat hoax. Or at the RNC convention (LOL).
You know it’s coming, you just don’t know when.

“But that’s not mutually exclusive with Stone being a jackass.”
So, being a jackass is now against the law around here?
To: struggle
Too long... thats more than court years for a non-violent process crime. Ridiculous!
