Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's new initiative to attack President Trump on the economy shows just how "out of touch with reality" she is, the former speaker of the House Newt Gingrich said Wednesday.

Appearing on "America's Newsroom" with host Ed Henry, Gingrich said that he was surprised by reports she would pivot to that approach because of the Trump administration's economic successes, including record-low unemployment numbers, strong wage growth, and an influx of jobs created.

In what the administration has touted as a "blue-collar boom," in January the country added 225,000 new jobs and wage growth remained at 3.1 percent. The unemployment rate ticked up to 3.6 percent, but the rate continues to hover near a 50-year low.

She's still p**** that she was not invited to the signing of USMCA. She did the ankle biting with the unions....which amounted to nothing....but the President mentioned USMCA in his SOTU as "Union Approved"...and her face lit up....as if she thought she was going to get mentioned. But that didn't happen and her face quickly reverted to a grimace.

I look at what has been done by the Dems over the last 8 months and then I hear stuff like this from Pelosi...and it makes me wonder;

Is there something we're missng here? What could Pelosi and her nut job crew in the House possibly have up their sleeves?
No one can actually be this stupid while trying to retain control of the House, take the Senate and also field a viable opponent to Trump.

There has to be something we're missing. Is a brokered convention with Hillary coming out as Dem candidate be the actual goal?

It’s been funny to see the media doing low-grade griping on the economy because they know what will happen if they kick that wasp’s nest. Hussein’s economic numbers were the biggest joke in history but Trump’s economy is “not doing that well”. Yeah, and I’ve got a subway to sell you.

As I recall , that picture was taken as Newt decided to join with Nancy to push global warming. He was trying to make a statement that global warming was not a political issue, and that he wanted a show of unity with a key Democrat that we needed to fight global warming.

Pretty much correct, except it looks a lot more like he was trying to get back ‘in’ with the people in power - witness how he’s regretted/not regretted that ad, he’s gone back and forth several times.
