With less than three weeks to go until the primary election on March 3, a new Alabama Daily News poll shows a tight race among Republican contenders for the U.S. Senate.
According to the survey of likely Republican voters, if the election were held today, 31% would vote for former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, 29% would choose former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville and 17% would choose Congressman Bradley Byrne.
Five percent said they would choose former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, and no other candidate registered more than 1%. Sixteen percent of voters said they were undecided.

Really hope Tuberville beats him - no more Jeffy.
please, alabama, dont screw this up again.
Why bother electing him?
He’ll just recuse himself when the rubber hits the road.
Agreed he already showed yellow. IMHO
Sessions should just go home and enjoy time with the grandkids, hasn’t he done enough?
Alabama is a runoff state, right?
Sessions was a very good senator. He was taking a stand against illegal immigration long before anyone else.
He was also the very first senator to support Trump. Trump didn’t have a lot of credibility in the early stages but Sessions stuck his neck out and supported him.
I’ll support Bradley Burns before Tuberville but I will vote for Tuberville if he’s the republican nominee.
Ahhh - the inbred vote. Must be south 'Bama - way south.
Prefer Sessions or Byrne to Tuberville - Tuberville is soft on illegals. Jeff Sessions was not the right guy for AG but he was a very good senator before - should have just stayed there.
I believe so, if nobody gets 50%, there is a run off of the top two.
Jeff wan’t one last chance to “set the record straight” on the kind of man he really is. He has no other reason to do this.
Maybe one of his grandchildren asked him:
“Is it true, Grandad? Did you make it easy for President Trump to get impeached? My teacher says they couldn’t have done it without your cooperation.”
Tommy!!!!
Anybody else besides stepasidesessions.
That's about where I am too.
Same here. Byrne then Tuberville. Roy Moore isn’t even 10%.
Not surprising that a former coach might be a bit squishy on immigration.
DEFEAT DERP JEFF !
Sessions was an EXCELLENT senator and very tough on illegal immigration AG was way over his head !!!!!
I disagree!!
Why do you support a Derp State enabler ? He stood by with both thumbs up his ass while they waged war on OUR President. To reward someone who did this is unimaginable.
