Wow. They have time for this kind of shiite?
Are all of the other problems in CA solved now and I didn’t hear about it?

I would guess the hotels are outside of the state’s per diem rate so this is mainly for show.

Public officials, at any level, should not profit off the constituents that they were elected to serve and represent,
OK, lets hold everyone to that standard..............

State employees should be staying at the Red Roof Inn when on the road, not luxury properties.
To: Swordmaker
Good, Holiday Inn Express is good enough for them.

I haven’t stayed at a Trump hotel in probably twenty years but I remember they were pretty pricey and a government employee shouldn’t be spending tax-payer dollars like that anyway.
Virtue signalling.

CA has lost its mind.
This is for sure unconstitutional and probably illegal.
Also violates law preventing targeting an individual.

Holiday Inn Express is good enough for them.Judging from current events in SF and LA, a tent on the sidewalk and public toilets should be good enough for them.

What kind of per diem do they give these filthy state employees where they could afford to stay at Trump properties in the first place?

Wow. They have time for this kind of shiite? Yes, they're way overworked on the big issues such as trying to figure out which bathrooms to use.
