Oh, I see. You know I thought about that. I wouldn’t want to go into the hospital unless I was allowed to take COQ10, Vitamin D, NAC, and drink Apple Cider Vinegar and eat oatmeal with Coconut oil. I’m not place my future in their hands unless they have the so-called miracle drug they’re working on. If they let me take my vitamins and regimen fine, otherwise, I’m not sure. Oh I’ll stay home, but frankly, think I have a better chance of surviving if I get if let to my devices unless they have a proven method and thus far they don’t.

You and I both know they ‘re not doing that.
One of the self isolaters from the ebola epidemic was seen at a local restaurant. Saturday evening IIRC and the place was packed.
But if it were Me and I was in the Phillipines, I might think twice about going to the hospital there. 3rd world countries have a way of dealing with political opponents that’s somewhat uncommon in the US. (Unless you’re from arkansas)
And even data on recoveries isn’t nearly enough. These calculations are much more complicated than that. For example, once hospitals start to become logistical nightmares, definitions of “recovered” can vary tremendously. The infected over time, are not a static body of people (there can be massive variances in things like overall health, age, genes, over time). Early in an outbreak, hospitals tend to see only the sickest patients, but as infrastructure breaks down, the sickest patients are unable to get to hospitals (or unable to wait). And so on. Even with good data, the equations are very complex. With data like we have, they are utterly worthless.
Honestly, we have no idea, based on the data that we have, whether the fatality rate is .005%, or 50%. The only thing we have to go off of is that the people who have accurate numbers seem to be panicking, and they don’t have an incentive to panic, nor are they panicky types of people.

2nd child under coronavirus quarantine in Riverside is hospitalized

A second child was transported to Riverside University Health System-Medical Center after developing a fever Wednesday while under quarantine at March Air Reserve Base, authorities said.
The child was tested for novel coronavirus and is awaiting results, Riverside County Department of Public Health spokesman Jose Arballo Jr. said.
On Monday, a child was taken to the medical center after developing a fever. The child — a 10-month-old boy, according to documents obtained by Newsweek — was returned to the base Wednesday by government vehicle after testing negative for the virus, Riverside public health officials said.
