I was thinking the same. Goes back to watch what the Chinese do and not what they don’t censor. Had to update a bit.
It’s not a steep decline.

Japan to deny entry to foreigners on Westerdam
4 hours ago
Japan plans to deny foreign nationals on board a cruise ship from Hong Kong entry into the country due to a suspected case of coronavirus infection within the vessel.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told a task force dealing with the coronavirus outbreak that the cruise ship, Westerdam, is scheduled to make a port call in Japan in coming days.
He said that it has been confirmed that there is a passenger suspected of having developed symptoms caused by the deadly virus.
Abe said that the government will refuse foreign nationals aboard the ship entry based on Japan’s immigration control act.
The government decided earlier to tighten immigration controls and deny entry of foreign nationals who meet certain criteria.
Abe added that the government will apply the law to other similar cases.

Thanks.
Ugh. I’ve done a few cruises on the Westerdam in the past. It is mostly elderly people. Not good.
no reason to think it’s combined with that other ailment.
just that it might also be airborne via the same processes involved in the lungs of each?
No idea. outside my wheelhouse.
I missed the “lol” and was wondering about you, of all people, saying it. Sorry.

If Lackland can’t keep their speed bump up right and stable, I don’t have much confidence in their ability to keep the virus under control.
“This is not something that is worrisome at this point.” ... at this point.
Evacuees will be quarantined for 14 days in the base hotel with nice fluffy upholstery. If an evacuee needs medical help, they’ll be transferred to unnamed local hospitals (wouldn’t want to create a financial burden on a hospital).
No need to wear those paper masks because it’s spread by saliva (coughs and sneezes must not contain any saliva). Ignore the folk in hazmat suits.
Agreed. The airborne nature is what I’ve postulated. The elephant in the room people who say it is no worse than than flu can’t see.
No worries.
Yep...very scary. I love how they always say.....at this point....currently....etc.
So reassuring....NOT.
Beaumont TX has one under watch...at their (small) hospital.

Obviously our coronavirus task force is a bunch of kabuki.

South Korean health authorities have called for more attention to be paid to asymptomatic coronavirus patients after discovering that a 41-year-old Korean woman tested positive for the virus days after initially testing negative.
The woman is a relative of the countrys 15th case, a Korean man who had travelled to Wuhan last month and was confirmed to have the coronavirus on Sunday.
The woman was tested again for the virus after she began feeling unwell and tested positive for it, along with three other new patients, authorities said on Thursday. She was quarantined at home before she began to show symptoms...
