The Senate on Wednesday voted almost entirely along party lines to acquit President Donald Trump on abuse of power.

On the first of two articles of impeachment, Republican Mitt Romney of Utah voted to convict Trump, along with all Democrats and independents.

Trump is expected to be acquitted in the vote on the second article, obstruction of Congress, in a party-line vote with all Republicans voting to acquit and all Democrats voting to convict

As another friend of mine phased it “A Liberal is someone who bites the hand which feeds it while licking the boot which kicks it.” That describes MittWit to a T.

This is absolutely correct.

While I did praise Enema’s language on several issues, I warned people she was merely providing sufficient cover to vote the “right” way on the “big” issues like Impeachment and Buzzi’s successor.

I was on the road and listened to it on Faux Snooze on Sirius. When I had some time, I pulled over and watched it on YouTube. Amazing!

All that said, phuck Willard Romney! A total POS! If he has any committee appointments, and, if I were the Turtle, I'd pull them all! (Probably never happen)

perot (who only some years back outsourced EVERYBODY’S jobs) cost a lot of votes

But saying read my lips and then raising taxes didn’t help

and being kind of a mush didn’t help

88 percent approval after the war

how does on lose a year and a half later?

You kind of answered your own question. Certainly raising taxes would normally kill GHW Bush at the ballot. But Clinton was so obviously bad in character, it seemed clear cut he shouldn't have even been nominated.

Bush raising taxes led to Ross Perot, another populist businessman, like Trump. Had he not run, Bush would have won.

As I said, that was my first disillusionment with the American voter. 1996 was the second. My expectations were at the bottom, and then Obama got elected, lowering them more.

Exactly, all for show. A cynical performance for the AZ voters when she knew the next day she was going stab them in the back. Turns out she is nothing but a duplicitous little rat like the rest of them

Sarah Elizabeth Cupp just tweeted this:

Mitt Romney will be in history books, remembered for his courage. This...whatever it is...will be laughed at, dismissed as crazytown, and forgotten before this tweet goes live. https://t.co/vJ9lIWLXYP— S.E. Cupp (@secupp) February 9, 2020

I wasn't able to watch Justice from start to finish, but this seems to be an 8 minute clip from it that S E Cupp calls 'crazytown'.

Here is the Judge's open Sat nite:

Mitt dared to do what he thought was good for him individually. Not for the party, not for us and certainly not for America. He knew his vote would change nothing regarding impeachment but he tried to set himself up as a “leader” going against everyone else. #OpeningStatement pic.twitter.com/cuxJNlY3xH— Jeanine Pirro (@JudgeJeanine) February 9, 2020
