Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, told Fox News' Chris Wallace Wednesday in an exclusive interview that he "had to follow my conscience" in deciding to vote to convict President Trump on abuse of power, a decision that's likely to lead to serious blowback from Trump and others in the Republican Party.
"I believe that the act he took, an effort to corrupt an election is as destructive an attack on the oath of office and our Constitution as I can imagine," Romney said. "It is a high crime and misdemeanor within the meaning of the Constitution, and that is not a decision I take lightly. It is the last decision I want to take."

Utah is in the process of passing a law that would allow them to recall politicians. Expect Romney to challenge it.
Romney is absolutely full of crap. He’s just butthurt because:
1. He knows that he’ll never be POTUS and he’s green with envy that DJT is.
2. Potus dismissed him and passed over him for Secretary of State.
3. POTUS’ lawyers embarrassed him by showing video, during the trial, of Bozo eating his lunch.
4. Most importantly, one of his top advisors, Joseph Cofer Black is on the Board of Burisma. You know he doesn’t want anyone looking into that!

Romney is guilty of his criminal affairs in Ukraine and is attempting to create a defense that Trump’s AG only went after him for his vote.

The one thing I think many miss is in the House, Trump was not allowed legal representation, he was not allowed witnesses, all was done in secret. Based on these circumstances how in the hell can Romney vote guilty based on a Star Chamber Trial in the House.
I do not think Romney is a leftist nor conservative. I think he just wants to be President. The only way that will happen if he becomes a democrat and the odds of the democrats accepting him is small.
