Now we have Ed Buck, Adam Schiff’s good friend.
Rush isn’t one of them, he tells the truth.
OTOH, the sex predator...
I can’t believe it. I lied, there goes the chair. JK
OK, so he served during the Korean war. I almost always respect that unless there was a dishonorable discharge involved or it was used for political purposes like kerry and mccain. Kerry more so.
But a ship named after him?!?!?!
It’s terrible.
What statement does it send to the world?
We are a GREAT country and we dont imprison or hurt gays. We shouldn’t. They will answer to someone FAR more powerful than us one day.
But we also shouldn’t accept their lifestyle as mainstream.
No less advertise it on a ship!!!
A case in point.
And don’t forget...as if you could.
President Obama commuted the prison sentences of more than 1,700 individuals (including Chelsea Manning), 330 of them on his final day in offices.
You, me, and about three other active posters here seem to care anymore.
Did not know this 😲. Deranged democrats.
Yeah, I know, I get plenty of flak for pointing out that the popular children of foreign nationals were themselves born foreign nationals.
Jindal - Indian

George P. Bush - Mexican
Kamalalala Harris - Jamaican/Indian
It was always part of the discussion about the scumbag in the seventies and eighties.
Milk also took much support from and praised Jim Jones Peoples Temple, before that whole regrettable Kool-Aid thing.
Four.
The first starship of the new Space Force should be named the ‘USS Rush Limbaugh’.
(yes, I know the role of the Space Force is currently ground-based. But one day ...)
However it would be MUCH better policy to name ships after concepts and animals rather than people: alive or dead.
‘USS Constitution’, “USS Enterprise”, ‘HMS Astute’, “HMS Terror” - these are great ship names that stand the test of time.
But if personal names are persisted with, you know that one day there’s going to be a battleship named “USS Hilary Rodham Clinton”.
Well, it is an oiler......................
When that was happening, Jonestown Massacre, I worked with a guy that was a HS BFF of Jim Jones. He said Jones was a mental case even back then.................
Yeah well i’m sure he greased up a lot of guys in his time so it works out perfectly...
The flagship of the task force is the aircraft carrier USS Hillary Clinton, named after "the most uncompromising wartime president in the history of the United States".
Well, in 50 years we’ll probably have a whole flotilla named after the members of the Village People.
And lest it be forgotten, Milk was also a big time supporter of Jim Jones and the Peoples’ Temple.
USNS Harvey Milk (T-AO-206)
Builder: National Steel and Shipbuilding Company
Status: Under construction
General characteristics
Type: OilerUSNS Harvey Milk will be the second of the John Lewis class of underway replenishment oilers, operated by the Military Sealift Command to support ships of the United States Navy.
Construction of the lead ship of the class, USNS John Lewis (T-AO-205), was tentatively scheduled to begin in 2018 at General Dynamics NASSCO in San Diego. According to the Naval Vessel Register, construction of both ships was authorized on 30 June 2016.
In July 2016, United States Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus advised Congress that he intended to name the Military Sealift Command's John Lewis-class oilers after prominent civil rights leaders, with the second to be named for gay rights activist Harvey Milk. Milk served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War aboard the submarine rescue ship USS Kittiwake (ASR-13) and held the rank of lieutenant (junior grade) at the time of his honorable discharge. The ship was officially named at a ceremony in San Francisco on 16 August 2016. It is the first U.S. Navy ship named for an openly gay leader. The first cut of steel occurred on 13 December 2019, marking the beginning of construction of the vessel.
There needs to be indictments
nothing else is going to change anything
