He has advanced lung cancer
I do love MS, but not as much as Rush.Truth be told, when MS *claims* he is very far north....actually I am further north than he is. But he lives in a lovely little town, south of me.
why did you lose your faith? Ask God to restore it.
My relative had symptoms but they didnt catch it. I guess hidden in the lung some kind of way.
And in the end it had spread to bones and brain and who knows what else. But still able to function which was a miracle.
And yes, it effects everyone in a different way.
You have a choice. Go through HELL with chemo and radiation or go a quicker route.
Who knows what Rush will do but he is in for a hell of a time.

And yes, you can smoke and not get it..and not smoke and get it.
But..how about at least not smoking to aid in not getting it.

He should, it's now an annual for me and all you need is a prescription from his doctor. It only takes maybe 10 minutes for the scan but the time waiting in the lounge after checking in may take longer.......LOL!

Had a guy at work at work get it - never smoked. Passed away in May. Smoking is a risk factor, but there could be other causative agents.
My husband of 49 years was just diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in October. He just finished 35 targeted radiation treatments and six chemos. He is doing amazingly well. Goes for new scan on the 11th. Praying the tumor has shrunk. If all is well with the scan he’ll get immunotherapy infusions every two weeks for one year. It’s an awful disease. They have come a long way. Keytruda has been successful with stage 4 five year survival rate. I refuse to give up hope. They are making great strides in immunotherapy LC treatment.
Started listening to Rush in early 1991 and have listened most days since. But the first time I saw Rush was two or three years earlier. He was sitting in the middle of a semi-circle of chairs, surrounded by pro-choice feminists on all sides, defending the right to life on the Ron Reagan Show.
I heard him joke about that appearance on the RR show a time or two since. Will be praying for successful treatment and many more years of the Rush Limbaugh Show.
We get it. Now is not the time to score points. Give it a rest.
Don’t rely on just that though. It can miss it. Watch for symptoms. Unfortunately, they can be syptoms related to other things.
But know the symptoms.

I don’t want to intrude too much on this thread, which doesn’t concern my little tales of woe, but a very quick answer, it was after much thought and reflection, and it will not change going forward...as i said, I am glad others can benefit from it, as I would be about benefits derived from anywhere...
