This happened many years ago when I was a residence hall monitor at then East Texas State University. The school then was becoming a magnet for the ghetto culture “minorities” who would segregate themselves into clusters in these dormitories. Most were obviously social promotion, having neither the aptitude, sense of responsibility or self control to attend a four-year college. (I encountered a lot of them as a tutor, and they were dumber than rocks.).

I can imagine it has only gotten a lot worse since then.

Is it just me, or have others noted an inordinate number of recent mass shootings seem to be concentrated in Texas? The El Paso WalMart & several church shootings all had elements that didn’t add up, seemed to be left- wingers masquerading as “white supremacists.”
Coincidence? Or coordinated attempt to weaken Texas voters’ 2A support & turn the state blue?

I know two people who graduated from South West Texas State and then took some courses at A&M Commerce.

I noticed they both list themselves as Texas A&M grads.

Those who got promoted BECAUSE of the color of their skin will be angry about it many years from now...after they get over the chuckling, giggling and "serves'em right" attitude.

While they are sitting at their undeserved desk the rest of the folks will have nothing to do with them.
When there IS work for them to do they won't get it because they don't have the skills of reading and writing to do it.

SOMEDAY, when they are in their forties or fifties they WILL get pissed off because they are the real "do nothing mystifiers" exemplifying everything M.L.King DIDN'T believe in and have the respect of NO ONE in their company. It WILL catch up with them.

Texas A & M = agriculture and mining. "Aggies"

I knew a Ph.D. in petroleum engineering from there. REAL smart guy.
It's a great school I hear.

Pride Rock residence hall,

Is this a dorm for perverts or is there a local landmark named Pride Rock?

Don’t know about being concentrated in Texas but there have
mass shootings over the years there. Three with over 20 deaths.

Here is a listing going back to the President Kennedy event

El Paso is essentially Mexico, so I wouldn’t place that in Texas.

Texas is a big state and there are crazy people there just like everywhere, as well as hot tempered individuals-there have been a number of high profile shootings there, going way back-before the Kennedy assassination-so no, it isn’t a conspiracy to turn Texas blue...

Yea, I was thinking the same - just another gay-lovers’ spat. Nothing new. I lost a co-worker to that, really nice guy, never even knew he was dead, until he was murdered. They really need to tone it down a bit.
