Jeff Van Drew (R-2nd), the Wildwood rally has the highest ticket request (about 100,000, per media reports) of any of Trump’s close to 50 similar events across the nation, so far ---SNIP--- Every single hotel and motel in the Wildwoods is booked,” reported Van Drew. “They’re all filled. This is going to be an amazing thing for Wildwood, and not only for Wildwood, but for all of South Jersey to have this opportunity.”

I had a summer house in wildwood a few years in my 20s.
But I love the shore in the winter. So quiet and peaceful.
Some years we had a house in Belmar.
Great days.
Now the only place I’m likely to get a house to is Bellevue.
Southern New Jersey has a lot of Italians and Orthodox Jews and is the best part of NJ. I would imagine it goes for Trump.
But the city numbers kill them.

Someone asked me if I'd attend.
I said no because it would be hopeless for some schmuck like me to try and get tickets. Now, I'm seriously thinking about coming to WW just to be part of the experience. Maybe watching on the outdoor screens with 100k fellow conservatives might be inspiring enough to make it worth braving the NJ winter.

At the end of a long night of rides and walking it was so nice to hop on one and just relax and look at the people.
One of the things I wish for occasionally is a box of Douglas’ long salt water taffy.
And a good cheese steak and a good pizza and scrapple ...
haven’t been back to NJ since 1990
It should be the night that the sham impeachment speeches have just ended. Maybe this rally is part of the reason that the Senate changed the rules to give each side three days, instead of two, to speak their 24 hours.
