Why did Trump’s lawyers wait for the Articles of Impeachment to cry constitutional foul?

Help....something has been bothering me since it occurred. Can anyone advise if shiftless’ fictional account of Our President’s call to Ukraine made on the floor of congress remains in the congressional record?? My concern is 50 years from now, if the left hasn’t completely revised history, anyone researching the congressional record will view a completely false accounting of the call. I hope it has been stricken from the record, but I haven’t been able to find evidence of its removal.

Wrong. The “offenses” are well described in the Constitution, for which a President may be impeached, tried and removed from office. Just cause the “dems want to, and disagree on policy or person” is not sufficient. Dismissed AND Acquitted of improper charges.

If you give the U.S. Supreme Court the authority to intervene in an impeachment process that Congress is given the sole authority to adjudicate under the U.S. Constitution, then you are also giving the Court the authority to overturn an acquittal by the U.S. Senate.

Mark Levin is quite clear on the topic. And he has the ear of the team. McConnell is a major, powerful factor in the conduct of any “proceeding”. And there is the “ace in the hole” against Roberts even being seated, and requiring his recusal— the continuing blackmail of Roberts by obmauamao’s communist minions against the Brazilian adoption of his two Irish children— and the supposed “illegality” of that.

obamaumao is still blackmailing Roberts, as are the democrats. Reason enough for recusal, and also— to stop the proceedings, period. No reason to proceed under these conditions.
