When the GOP retakes the House they should start the impeachment of the next Rat president that day.

They could form a standing impeachment committee that meets regularly to incorporate any rumor of scandal into an impeachment charge. (Not that much different than what Pelosi's House has done.)

Come, gentlemen, we sit too long on trifles,
And waste the time, which looks for other revels.

They have threatened to go for a second impeachment. Making President Donald J. Trump the 1st president to ever have been impeached twice. They may even go for a hat trick.

The trial and particularly Trump’s defense will get short shrift in the stooge press. All the masses, who are generally working during the trial, will see in their “news” programs are “the Parnas coverup”, Schiffty’s press conference lies, etc. The dems will try this case in court of Fake News Lies.

What will the coup plotters try next after the “impeachment” farce is over?

We've seen no one of any stature tried and imprisoned for sedition and treason. The law is for the little people. If you're part of the elite or a media darling - you are exempt of any wrongdoing.

The national media continues to run cover for and ignores seditionists and traitors. The status quo is not likely to change. Until we have an AG who puts deep state traitors along with their libelous and slanderous media folk - in prison or in a noose, it will be business as usual.

Don't be surprised to see the house democrats start a new impeachment circus after the President is acquitted of current bogus charges.

Although they would love to take down Trump, that is not the goal. Its always been defensive. The establishment has made it harder to prosecute themselves for real crimes by constantly abusing their positions to attack Trump for fake crimes.

Fair trial? A trial assumes that any of these baseless and worthless articles have any semblance of truth behind them.

Agree. Cruz is delusional. There was nothing fair about the kangaroo court in the House to begin with. To even hope for a fair trial is to legitimize an unconstitutional farce.

The ‘Peachment Circus is now under new management.

Somehow I don’t find that very reassuring. The Repukes are notorious for screwing things up, always caving in, and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Its the only thing you can count on them to do consistently.

WOW! Good catch.

That’s a Bad mistake. But So Many articles are now being written compared to the paper age that proofreading is a thing of the past.

As for Cruz, say what one will about him, he will be an excellent questioner and I’d love to see it.

Nope. They’ve got dozens of impeachments to follow.

Realistically, “Orange Man Bad” is all they’ve got.

The only hammer they have to prevent him from doing an effective job of reversing their totalitarian “progress” and/or investigating their very own crimes, up to and including capital treason, is to attempt to nail him with an endless string of impeachment attempts.

The Republican controlled senate is legitimizing an unconstitutional and farcical kangaroo court fabricated by the Decocrats for the sole purpose of removing Trump from office. This nonsense should be summarily dismissed lest if serve as a basis for future abuses of power by any party that wants to remove a president for purely political reasons. On that basis alone not a single GOP senator should permit this disgraceful attempted coup to go on. But they will.

Never ending eternal impeachment.

I have read several posts that say this but won't the Dems look like utter fools (even more so than right now) if they try this again? Even their diehard insane base won't take them seriously.

Do you actually believe that Republicans are committed to advancing the conservative agenda? That’s pure fantasy.

If not dismissed, it will be another fuster-cluck. Libs, and some here, want this circus to last forever... parading hundreds of witnesses through the Senate, and breathless, non-stop leftist propaganda on MSM. Another reality tv show for the morons making up the masses.

"The partisan impeachment we've seen is over."

Right. Now we’ll have a bipartisan partisan impeachment, instead.

Which is the same circus, only it’s different.
