In a survey about how the 2020 presidential candidates' positions on certain issues will influence voters' decisions, 35% of American adults said that a candidate's view on health care was "extremely important" to them but only 11% said that a candidate's opinion on LGBT rights was "extremely important."

No, I meant to type that as a spur of the moment comment.
It was their percent figure. (You may have meant them. If so I get it.)
In truth our youth have been indoctrinated. We’re just lucky it wasn’t a 15-20% favorable number.
I remember when homosexuals first came out of the closet. Many quoted 20-25% of the population was homosexual. Well, I'm no statistician but those numbers were BALONEY.
So, I've kept an eye on the shifting numbers over the decades--not rigorously but enough to know that the numbers of homosexual/bisexual people is MUCH lower than the non-heterosexual community would have us believe. The media also HYPED the worst news--of course--so people who believe whatever the media say will believe the larger wrong numbers.
I think their numbers were wishful thinking. And, sadly, THEY were the worst hit by the AIDs epidemic.
Creation was our Lord's work and there is NO reason to believe that He wanted THAT many abnormal people.
And, biblically speaking, anything BUT heterosexual relations is a sin...a big one.
I don’t disagree with your take on things. I think most of us have done pretty much the same thing.
There is a reason why they claim larger numbers. They want more political clout.
I’m saying all this without making a judgment. I feel pretty much the same way you do.
The 11% would include the freaks and their immediate family.
Re-education camps for 89%!
Sticking stuff like decimal points in the wrong places...it's a perv thing.
11% but they get a boatload of attention, especially here.
If they leave me the hell alone, I promise I won’t kill any of them.
C’est incroyable!
People who are gay have family and friends, you know. IF the poll is accurate, that likely explains the number.
I thought it said ‘buttload’. We know they’re getting that. And if you read the post, you’ll see that it means 11% of possible voters give a damn. Not that there are 11% of the population that are ‘them’.
Well, you're a better man than I an, Gunga Din. I AM judgmental about some things...especially when homosexuals believe that since homosexual "marriages" are now legal, that SOMEhow it makes them right.
Those who are Catholic KNOW the mortal sin they commit. I don't know about the various Protestant denominations...though SOME Protestant ministers HAVE performed these SINFUL, wrong and disgusting ceremonies.
I don't get hot under the collar about it...except here. But I DO know that those same-sex sinners will have to stand before God one day and explain themselves.
I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.
We are ALL sinners but I, at least KNOW a sin when I see it or do it. I ain't dumb. And I know that same-sex unions are anathema to God, practicing Catholics and ... some others.
Who me? Ticked off? Never....:o)
See what you did there.
The poll is not accurate.
I don’t disagree with you.
There are certain things I would block if possible, and this new reading phase to young children at libraries across the nation is one.
I’ll let God sort it out beyond that.
I have my own sins, but I hope they aren’t seen as bad as that one. They may still prevent my passage through the pearly gates.
I try to keep my infractions smaller as time goes by.
Not faulting you or anyone else for your beliefs. I share them.
It stated that only 11% were concerned with LGBT rights, and that was what I addressed. Are you disagreeing with that?
Not at all.
I was referring to your use of the word fudge in an article about gays.
LOL
I hadn’t even realized it. I was engrossed in what seemed at first like a fair number to challenge.
With kids being indoctrinated these days though, you can almost see how that number would be higher, or soon to be.
Take care.
However, for a candidate who has NO BASE to appeal to it's about the last straw they can grab onto to try to stay relevant.
