“The House’s hour is over,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declared Thursday in a floor speech slamming Democrats for putting on a “partisan performance” celebrating the signing of articles of impeachment by handing out souvenirs and posing for smiling photos.
In a contrived signing ceremony Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) signed the articles of impeachment, one letter at a time, using golden pens delivered to her on a silver platter – which she handed out as souvenirs, McConnell said:

That’s what we call an unforced error. Could be used to absolutely hammer the dims as out of touch with ordinary Americans. Get all the receipts and details of this purchase and go to town on Pelosi and the house dims.
Trump can do likewise, except with a lot more pomp and circumstance, once he’s exonerated (or the case gets thrown out of the senate. He can invite all members of congress, with special invitations for Nancy and Schiff and Nadler and the house impeachment managers. CNN and MSNBC and the rest of the liberal media can be invited to the celebration.
Celebration can be conducted at a large stadium, with Twitter and Facebook and all TV and radio stations doing the live broadcasts. A two-hour gloat speech by Trump would be mandated.
This is why she waited so long to deliver the articles. Those pens were on back order.
They just came in. So now on with the show!
Trump should get one and use it to sign every damn thing he’s actually accomplishing for Americans.

Maybe I am paranoid but I honestly believe that the golden pen show was meant precisely for Trump supporters. “Look what you low life’s paid for, these.classy pens that I used to sign Trumps articles of impeachment.”
