Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam issued a state of emergency on Wednesday that bars any weapons from the Richmond’s Capitol Square from Friday to Tuesday, after he received credible intelligence that hate groups and armed militias are planning violence at next Monday’s Lobby Day against gun control legislation.
Northam, who discussed the threats at a news conference, said the state’s law enforcement analysis found that the chatter on the internet and other venues mirrored similar messages seen around the time of the 2017 Charlottesville "Unite the Right" rally, which left three dead and more than 30 injured
The governor declined to give exact details about the threats and the persons making them, but said that these groups, who were coming from outside of the state, talked about storming the Virginia Capitol.

So you believe people from outside of Virginia are willing to start shooting in Virginia’s capitol, while no groups in Virginia would think of doing so? That is what the governor is saying, and apparently you, too?

Things like that are tough to bounce back from.
I am against giving Northam amnesty as part of the end of the coming war. He doesn't deserve it for what he is causing to the people of Virginia and the US. No one forced Northam to inflame people--especially during a politically motivated impeachment. What will happen soon is avoidable.

was that the samer rally which the right had a permit then were told off the police to move out of the area into the area which was inhabited by thousands of left wing, Antifa, liberal, and commies.
Who then police ignored the attacks by the commies etc, and then who the media targeted the right and accusing them.
The same rally which the right were trying to leave when they were attacked in their cars, and then a car ran others over because he feared for his life after he was attacked, surrounded etc.

the liberals/progressives are doing the same today that they have been doing these past 150+ years. Push people until they react, they punish them for the next hundred years for reacting, (and it’s not hard when you get to handle the narrative and write the history), so shove your pin up your ass.
Agree for the most part! However endlessly arguing over the Civil War and comparing to now, which seemed to be the direction the discussion was going is a waste of time. Just medieval style sophistry which is what I compared it to.
