Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has declared she is “cancer free,” beating the disease for the fourth time after undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer in the summer.
The 86-year-old justice, one of the oldest to serve on the Supreme Court, offered the health update to CNN in an interview in her chambers Tuesday evening.
“I’m cancer free. That’s good,” Ginsburg said, with CNN reporting that she was “sounding energized and speaking animatedly.”

I saw an interview with him in which he alluded to “Right To Try,” I’m wondering whether his last treatment was experimental or he’s planning ahead.

It makes me sick that so many that I love a care about get cancer once, maybe twice and die. Why aren’t Ginsberg drugs and treatments available to us regular Americans? She’s obviously getting some pretty serious drugs. I’ve never heard of anyone surviving cancer 4 times.
In other news, Cancer declared that it was Ruth Bader Ginsburg free.

I have noticed that the politically well connected and powerful, not always the same, have much better outcomes in their treatment.

I have seen the same thing. I used to have my own term for it which I don’t recall right now. But a new medication pain or other type gives some temporary strength then things go downhill fast.
Some observations on RBG cancer saga.
Maybe she has had 4 seperates cancers, the first 3 slower and completely cured.
First colon cancer. Treated and lucky for her a post cancer bloodtest caught a pancreatic cancer. This first one not adenocarcinoma and treated and cured. This @ 2009.
In 2018 lung cancer detected and a lobe removed. Not a metastases from the earlier pancreatic cancer.
In August 2019 adenocarcinoma pancreatic cancer detected and given radiation treatment for 3 weeks. This could be stage 1 or 2 and local. No surgery needed which would be whipple.
Radiation could have been CyberKnife which are higher burst treatments.
A bile duct Stent was put in. No surgery at this time so could have been endoscopic. IIRC 3 months later this Stent was removed along with tumor growths and two stents put in. The tumor growths occurred beyond the original radiation treatment.
This last cancer is probably her death sentence. No Whipple surgery or chemo yet. Very lucky with screenings after the lung cancer that it was caught early.
Not in medical area, just trying to make some sense of this cancer in our judicial system.
I agree...I feel like the wealthy or someone like her would have access to state of the art cures/ remedies. I wish all people were at least told about them so they can “try” to get it themselves.
I’m so sorry Rose! I feel for you and I also cry out for His justice because I see the same thing. These people seem to carry on and live forever while good and kind and Godly people don’t seem to have 9 lives... sad
