Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has declared she is cancer free, beating the disease for the fourth time after undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer in the summer.
The 86-year-old justice, one of the oldest to serve on the Supreme Court, offered the health update to CNN in an interview in her chambers Tuesday evening.
Im cancer free. Thats good, Ginsburg said, with CNN reporting that she was sounding energized and speaking animatedly.

The thing about PC is that everyone pretty much gets the same treatment. There are a couple of variations. There are some immunology treatments that are effective with some BRACA gene markers.
I am not sure where her cancer was either. Cancer of the head of the pancreas is the worst. In the tail, it is not as quick.
I refuse to click on the story and give them a rating hit..
I believe she is 87 in March...and no one has seen her since she went home from a so called surgery last Fall... interesting...
Is she really in her CHAMBER ? JUST WONDERING...BUT NO MEDIA PHOTO'S...hummm interesting...
Did she invoke the Trumpian right to try, and did she get to try the Israeli magic bullet that is so experimental that can cure what she has in 2 weeks...
Voices from the grave.
Actually, yes.
Yes they do. Everyone responds differently. She was in great shape and had a great amount of fight in her. That makes a ton of difference.
The BIG difference is she had frequent check ups. My wife has it and they only found it because of regular blood panels tested for a rare heart condition. Otherwise it would have been years before it showed up.
Most Americans are not under such close screening.
And Alex Trebeck is going, “what the hell?”.
Time will tell.
Sure Ruthie. And I’m the King of England.
Exactly! It will pop again somewhere.
No she is not. She has been given medication to treat the pain and something else to amp her up. My cousin had cancer and about a week before he passed he suddenly looked better than he had in months and months. Rosy cheeks, bright eyed and animated he looked and sounded like the picture of health.
As quickly as it came on it was gone and so was he. The Dr said in some cases the patient is like a light bulb which flares the brightest just before it burns out.
I guess you can’t win them all.
I am wondering. No one survives pancreative cancer.
Steve Jobs had a rare type of cancer Ed centered in the tail of the pancreas. He spent a lot of time with herbal cures. It was highly treatable. But he waited too long to get western meds. His was the type than can now be cured.
Trust me, I ve read just about every journal I can get my hands on. There are one or two primary treatmentsand surgery if you are eligible.
There is no secret cure, or special meds only rich people get.
I understand people think that...its simply a fantasy.
Well, someone has to be the smart ass troublemaker here. LOL
Thanks for the kind thoughts. Seeing my Oncologist next Month for an “update”.
,Yeah, pancreatic Cancer is no joke, and first time I hear she had the type. They hid the seriousness of her condition.
Only reason she is not dead yet is because, being old, it must progress very slowly.
Makes you wonder how Steve Jobs (and Ted Kennedy and John McCain, for that matter) missed undergoing the procedures RGB received to beat cancer “four times”—including pancreatic. Or whatever was done for Jimmy Carter that helped him beat brain cancer.
Agree. She is not free of pancreatic cancer. It will kill her if pneumonia doesnt.
I agree with you. If, after announcing that she is cancer free, RBG does announce her retirement, the left will turn against her and be absolutely vicious in their attacks for "betraying" them by stepping down.
My hunch is she has had her metabolism lowered to slow the growth. Maybe they cut the thyroid that skinny woman. I hear it helps
