Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) ripped President Trump for approving an airstrike against Irans top general, calling the attack "an act of war."
Make no mistake: Trumps actions are an act of war, Gabbard, a presidential candidate, said in an email to supporters. Taken without any authorization or declaration of war from Congress, seriously escalating this tit for tat conflict, pushing us deeper into an endless quagmire and dangerously undermining our national security.
Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran, has hinged much of her White House bid on ending Americas military involvements abroad and withdrawing troops from the Middle East.
We need to get out of Iraq and Syria now. That is the only way that we're going to prevent ourselves from being dragged into this quagmire, deeper and deeper into a war with Iran, the Hawaii Democrat tweeted Friday.

I bet her fanclub here is heartbroken.
Gabbard . . . blah, blah,blah
uniformed militants and military supplied and controlled by Iran attacking a sovereign embassy is an act of war ms gabbard.
Until someone posts her "assets"
Democrats didn’t seem to have a problem with Obama bombing the snot out of Libya, or trying to overthrow Egypt, or perpetuating a civil war in Syria. All without approval from Congress.
“We need to get out of Iraq and Syria now.”
But not Afghanistan, interestingly.
And interestingly, Trump was excoriated for moving a few dozen troops from the Syrian/Turkish border. He can do no right, in their eyes, it seems. Or perhaps the Americans we send there are only meant to be targets.
Well this should break up the Gabbard fan club here on FR.
She’s a liberal, never get the wrong impression that she is a voice of reason. She only seems to be because she is not as crazy as the rest of them. But okay is not good enough, as the commercial states. 8>)
And trashing a sovereign Embassy isn’t an act of war?
Did Tulsi Gabbard (or any other Democrat) say anything when that happened?
Nope.
“...Taken without any authorization or declaration of war from Congress...”
If this is your true belief, Gabbard, you aren’t smart enough to be President...
OK, so they ARE acts of war. We kill them. Too bad.
Tulsi, Tulsi: Irans attacks on our personnel and embassy arent an act of war?
Go back to surfing numbskull. The Fans on FR!? Wow. I sure hope not.
Am I not paying attention, or have the top-tier candidates been awfully quiet on this? Focus-grouping?
Her FR followers are heartbroken...but WE TOLD YA!
Tulsi and Tucker,
Isn’t the war on terror ongoing? Did it come to an end? I don’t recall that it’s over, so killing terrorists is what a war on terror is for, no?
And especially never try to attack our embassy, because the strikes weren't going to be called off this time.
Gabbard is correct that what Trump did was an act of war. But, the rest of her gibberish is nonsense. He had the Constitutional and Statutorily authority to order the attack. She’s been smoking too much of that Maui Gold. Our military have been committed to combat in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere since 2001 have done so under authorization from the U.S. Congress, updated and revised many times over the years. Even if the Congress had not done so, he has the authorization to commit U.S. Forces when required, with the caveat of informing the Congress within 30 days of his order. So these little lookie loos in the Democrat Party can pound sand.
