Gabbard is correct that what Trump did was an act of war. But, the rest of her gibberish is nonsense. He had the Constitutional and Statutorily authority to order the attack. She’s been smoking too much of that Maui Gold. Our military have been committed to combat in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere since 2001 have done so under authorization from the U.S. Congress, updated and revised many times over the years. Even if the Congress had not done so, he has the authorization to commit U.S. Forces when required, with the caveat of informing the Congress within 30 days of his order. So these little lookie loos in the Democrat Party can pound sand.
“Gabbard is correct that what Trump did was an act of war.”
Yes, it’s an act of war involving a uniformed FOREIGN combatant on the battlefield.
As Alan Dershowitz pointed out, it’s 100% legal.
Sacking an embassy and holding Americans hostage for 444 days isn’t an “act of war”?
Bombing an embassy killing Americans isn’t an “act of war”?
Bombing military barracks, killing 241 Marines isn’t an “act of war”?
Bombing another military barracks (Khobar Towers) killing 19 American military personnel isn’t an “act of war”?
Providing material support (financing, training, and weapons) to insurgents in Afghanistan and Iraq killing over 1,100 American troops isn’t an “act of war”?
IMO spreading the general to the four points of the compass is 40 years overdue.
