Find it rather interesting that the same people screaming that the US killed an Iranian terror leader and openly calling for the mass arrest and killing of American citizens upset on their civil rights being taken away.

Makes you think about just who the beltway represents.

People keep saying it’s unconstitutional.

Why isn’t it in court then? Don’t we have one judge who will act like that Hawaii guy and put a stay on it?

Evil people are what the beltway consists of.

None of it has been passed into law yet. Then we will see the response. The Left also needs incidents and martyrs. I wonder if Northam is a true believe and is willing to do anything to enslave the population?

Nothing has been done yet. The VA General Assembly is ramping up now for their 2020 session. That's when the ball gets rolling. After they have voted in some of the legislation, the Governor signs off on it, and the effective date occurs which I'm guessing will be July 1. I don't know at what point lawsuits will begin.

“With his attempt to force local commonwealth’s attorneys and sheriffs in Second Amendment sanctuaries to enforce his unconstitutional gun laws, Governor Northam is setting himself up for a catastrophic failure.”

Don’t give an order that you know won’t be obeyed, Ralph. Pretty basic stuff.

Could there be a scenario where state troopers attempt to enforce a gun control law and the sheriff and a posse/militia resisted them? Local law enforcement and armed civilians would outnumber and outgun the troopers. The governor could use the National Guard, but Trump could federalize them, as Kennedy and Eisenhower did in the civil rights era.

The down side is that Virginia is close to several states that are pro-gun. There may be hundreds, if not thousands of men from those states who would be happy to assist the pro-gun Virginians. Would Trump intervene to stop an insurrection, even if the insurgents are conservative Americans?

In order for it to be in court there have to be laws passed and people affected by the laws. Then there is a legal ball to play with.

Northam is an actor, delivering his lines. His backers are willing to have him to anything to enslave the population.

Look behind the curtains if you want to find the people who are calling the shots.

Are there “illegal alien” sanctuaries in Virginia? If so, this “law” is moot

a few years ago Colorado Dems passed vague and unenforceable laws regarding magazine size and Federal Instacheck requirements for intrastate firearm transfers ... all but a handful of county sheriffs immediately announced they’d ignore enforcement of the laws ... since Colorado doesn’t have a State police force (just a State highway patrol), there’s no one in those counties who COULD perform enforcement ...

also, as far as i know, no one in Colorado has ever been charged with violating either of those laws, including criminals committing crimes with firearms, and instances where civilian emergency personnel secured firearms illegally without such transfers occurring ...

“Why isn’t it in court then?”

the new anti-gun laws haven’t actually even been passed by the Virginia legislature ... in fact, i don’t think they’ve even been introduced yet because the newly elected Dem legislature has yet to even come into session yet ...
