Has she gone stupid? It’s more than likely that a false figure was entered because when it comes down to it, it’s nobody’s business what a person pays for a property. I’m in RE with MLS access. When a property is sold, there is a section to complete with information regarding the buyer’s loan. Sometimes to avoid putting the amount, realtors will state that the buyer paid cash with no further details, or they will enter some fictitious amount. Because it is nobody’s business particularly on public sites like Zillow.

For what it's worth ... I've been compiling real estate information dealt from Zillow a lot in recent months, and I'm finding that there is almost no distinction in their records between sales and leases.

If you do a search for "All Homes Under $100,000" in a certain region, you come up with a lot of listings that are rentals, not sales. A 3BR, 2BA home in a decent neighborhood listed for $1,500 is too good to be true!

Isn’t a mortgage lien a public document? At least it is in my state.

Property taxes there run nearly 30K/year.

That is ONE HECK OF A BARGAIN for that area..the Hollyweird Hills is a very expensive area..how did he get a bargain like that!!! Now is it possible he is renting it per month at that price its possible and makes more sense 14,000 sounds more like a rental price but how does an unemployed crack addict who cant pay his own kids child support afford 14,000 grand per month..hmmmmm guess he has some more Burisma money hiding somewhere

Yes...but digging up the information the ‘traditional’ way takes time and effort. Why put it out on the WWW? It’s invasive to say the least.

“””””It says rented right on the listing!””””””””

Don’t ruin a good conspiracy theory with facts. The knee jerk reactors here won’t like it.

All true, but real estate sells all the time for far under market + “considerations”. You never know sometimes.

I hope you don't help anyone professionally because you actually don't have the first clue. The consideration, (i.e. "price" the deed) is a matter of public record recorded at your local courthouse. IOW it's everybody's "business."

Unless the transaction was something like a gift or not at arms length, but then that's usually indicated as well.

NYS.......Common practice in a deed is "$1.00 and other goods or valuable consideration.

The $1 is simply to fulfill the necessity of "Consideration" in Contract Law.

That is how Zillow handles rents. The 14k is likely a monthly rent amount.

The property taxes will kill him.

That or the same who killed Epstein. He's becoming burdensome to pop.

Tony Rezko, maybe? Another sweetheart deal for which only the politically powerful are eligible. And this stuff slides on by with minimal comment.
