Well, Demonshits, you have your Bill of Attainder, now what do you intend to do with it? You're a bit like the Pit Bill who chased a Hummer, grabbed its bumper, and can't let go while it's accelerating to 90 mph. Enjoy yourselves, used ass wipes that you are.

Doesn’t everyone think this is a crazy moved by the democrats? I think the American people will totally reject this it’s just preposterous. To say that this cheapens impeachment is the understatement of the century. If you need to impeach the president then impeach him don’t say we impeached him but we think will hold on to it until democrats take over the senate some day. This is totally exposed as nothing but partisan and also it exposes their attitude that in their minds no one matters but democrats they really despise any other Americans.

I don’t know what the procedure here is but Mitch has to find a way to wrangle this or this will give Pelosi an out. She said she isn’t transmitting until she is assured of fair procedure. Then she got testy and refused to answer any more questions on it.

Excellent speech by McConnell. It looks to me like he is setting up a “dismissal resolution”. And he made excellent points. The HOUSE could become totally dominant if they start sending impeachment articles to the Senate once a week or so ... and they could (and probably would do that). Remember, once those “hit” the Senate, the Constitution states all legislation STOPS to take care of the articles. The House could SHUT DOWN the Senate. I think the key is the lack of “bipartisan” support in the House. If 30 or 40 Republicans would have voted for this, then there might be a reason for a trial ... but a party-line vote is just a bunch of children acting out. Dismiss it, Mitch!

And what Mitch?

Nancy will hold these articles for years then, always threatening "Just need a Majority in the Senate and these impeachment articles will go through.

So, legally speaking...what happens now if they choose to withhold the Articles they passed? Can Trump take them to court? Seems unlikely because of separation of powers. if the process of a trial hasn’t begun, Trump can’t take them to court for legislation they pass in the House.

But if they lose the House in November, can the House GOP vote to nullify the “shampeachment”?? I’d like to know what options there are from anyone who knows what the legal moves are which would be pursued.

Pelosi is trying to distract from Dem. corruption. Billions and Billions in deficit spending and illegals crossing the border while Democrats waste tax payer’s money.

So Nancy holds back the Articles of Impeachment until she is assured of no corruption in the Senate. (Now she knows how Trump felt about giving aid to Ukraine.)

But, what if the Senate wants to see the House's Articles of Impeachment before writing the Senate's procedures and rules that Nancy so desperately wants to see?

Sounds like a classic stand-off....or dare we say quid pro quo?

Nancy is therefore guilty of "Obstruction of Senate" which is a crime I just made up out of whole cloth just like the 2nd Article of Impeachment.

Nope. They are hemorrhaging voters the longer this goes on. Recent polling has all shown they starting to even lose their base on this.

If the Dems want to keep the bleeding going well into 2020, the GOP should stay out of their way and let them.

Well stated.

If Nadless can delay the application of normal House rules when it suits him, why doesn’t McConnell just change the Senate rules and go ahead and dismiss the charges in advance of receiving them?

Just “deem” them as received, vote and be done with it.

Hey Mitch. Would you mind if we put you on top of a wooden 4 x 4 fence post way out in the country somewhere. (I know it’s cruel and unusual for an innocent animal). For nuanced, sophisticated cruel and unusual domestic enemies what can we do?

The House, lead by Pelosi, are certainly making fools out of themselves. They are coming across as anarchist believers of mod rule, and our liberties be damned. It is win at all costs, rules and precedents be damned.

The VERY scary idea is that these same people make decisions that directly affect our daily lives (now and in the future). Do you want a mob rule group of people who run roughshod over liberties controlling your lives?
