The senate isn’t going to accept these illegitimate and unacceptable articles of Impeachment. He said as much this morning.
That is what Mitch is signalling will happen when these articles come over to the Senate.

Pelosi and her goons may be waiting for favorable court rulings on certain things, or to get a look at the president’s tax returns to search for any financial improprieties.

Nancy holds nothing but a pair of deuces. She has no hand. Old Nads even admitted the articles would be sent over to the Senate.
Once again, Nancy listened to the extremists and has herself in a pickle. That’s why she’s all prickly and angry refusing to take questions.
She knows she has nothing and Cocaine Mitch sure as hell knows and he’s letting her know it calling their actions “cowardice.”

I watched McConnell’s entire speech, and he pretty much tossed her Articles of Impeachment in the trash and tossed a match on them. They will get no more respect from the Senate than they deserve, and Mitch made it clear, that is pretty much none.
Also, after trashing their entire process as rushed, desperate, fueled by hate, illegitimate and partisan, he pretty much dismissed future impeachment attempts that did not involve a LONG, fair and bipartisan process using the courts and investigative resources to produce legitimate articles. Effectively, he set standards for Articles of Impeachment similar to the efforts of past impeachment proceedings.
I’d say he wrangled her pretty well. Playing nice and reaching across the isle has gotten us nowhere.

Nope, incorrect.
I think the answer is to deny he’s impeached. Just say voting on articles is t impeaching - until they are “served” to the Senate.
There’s a reason a subpoena needs to be formally and physically served. There’s a reason they make you physically touch it, and then say “you’ve been served.”
It’s the same with an impeachment: it isn’t real if they just hold onto it.
Whether or not this argument would hold up in court, is irrelevant. Just making the claim would raise doubts and make this baseless impeachment look even less legitimate.
I bet Pelosi would send them over to the Senate the minute the White House began denying he is impeached.
