House Democrats now have the votes to impeach President Donald J. Trump on Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal reported late Monday.
The Wall Street Journal‘s Siobhan Hughes, Lindsay Wise, and Natalie Andrews wrote Monday evening:
By Monday afternoon, at least 18 from the 31 Democratic-held districts that Mr. Trump won in the 2016 presidential race had announced they would support the abuse-of-power and obstruction of Congress charges, according to a Wall Street Journal survey, with two saying they are opposed.
In other words, given the recent surge over the weekend into early this week of announcements of support for Articles of Impeachment from a number of vulnerable House Democrats who had been holding out until now, the Democrats have crossed the threshold necessary to impeach the president–barring any unforeseen surprises.

You can thank the do-nothing GOP Senate for it. The House Dems have had near 3 months to gaslight their phone call impeachment narrative thanks to the do-nothingness oF the GOP Senate. Had the GOP Senate chosen to gather facts and shine a light on executive branch coupists the Dems would never have been at this point so soon.

And it has to be Wednesday, the same day Clinton was impeached (12/18). Any semblance of this being anything other than using the US Constitution for childish payback is far gone. The Democrats are trying to destroy America, and they must be stopped. Anything more said will create its own issue.

Exactly - that last part of your reply is what has most fascinated me - The Democrats have succeeded in doing what Trump himself has been unable to do - actually get his party to support him - There are Democrats who have been really rather vitriolic towards Trump who now are solidly in his corner.
