A federal judge on Monday rejected Michael Flynn’s attacks against the FBI and the Justice Department, setting a long-delayed sentencing for President Trump’s former national security adviser for Jan. 28.
U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan of Washington, D.C. dismissed Flynn’s motion to find prosecutors in contempt. In a 92-page decision, Sullivan ruled there was no basis for Flynn’s allegations that federal law enforcement officials entrapped the retired three-star Army general into accepting a plea deal and that special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s prosecutors had not wrongfully held back 50 requests for evidence from Flynn’s attorneys.

I'm not a lawyer, but my understanding is that it is very difficult to change a guilty plea after the case has already been effectively "closed" and no new facts related to the particular charge(s) are even being alleged.
Maybe this would have been an entirely different story if Sidney Powell had been Flynn's attorney from Day 1.
Flynn, like Page, is someone who is owed an apology and to be made whole.
Doesn’t sound like the judge thinks that he was set up. And Sullivan seems to know his stuff as he was the judge who overturned Ted Stevens’ conviction at the hands of Weissman.
Poor guy..no justice for him while the criminal swamp rats walk to freedom! I really was hoping justice and the rule of law would prevail!! I guess anyone who is accused by the swamp will be punished to the max!! USA and the rule of justice is becoming more and more rare these days as we tilt towards a rogue nation...USSA!
I thought Powell’s case centered around the FBI modified the 302’s making it appear that Flynn lied.

Agreed. A better idea would be to not talk to the FBI without legal counsel present.
Unless you are discussing the weather or baseball, it does not matter - have legal counsel present.
No one ever mentions that General Flynn has been under a gag order since he was charged with a crime.
Surprisingly, I can’t find a charging date. Odd. But I did find this:
“On November 23, 2017, it was reported that Flynn’s lawyers notified Trump’s legal team they can no longer discuss anything regarding Mueller’s investigation, suggesting that Flynn may be cooperating with prosecutors or negotiating a deal.”
So, that means he hasn’t been able to speak publicly for over two years. No way to defend himself.
Judge Sullivan has to sentence Gen. Flynn.
If there is ever a full and fair investigation into the corrupt Flynn prosecution, they would find it was Obama who ordered the Flynn witch hunt.

Sullivan was nominated by President Bill Clinton on March 22, 1994, to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia vacated by Judge Louis F. Oberdorfer. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on June 15, 1994, and received his commission on June 16, 1994.
Time to start the appeal process.
By pleading guilty Flynn admitted to specific facts related to the case, and going back two years later and claiming in a court filing that things did NOT happen the way you already admitted they did is a tough legal obstacle to overcome.
Meanwhile, Comey publicly admits a lie under oath about “adherence to the FISA process” when he acknowledges no such adherence occurred.
And that oily bastard walks free.
