Muslim migrants try to disrupt the Austrian parade of St. Nicholas. They was met with force from patriots. They forgot Krampus (horned-devil type creature) are in attendance and arent taking any of their [crap] this year.
Hat tip to Katie Hopkins

I think this should be SOP when outsiders try to interrupt our cultural events or attempt us from going onto any public lands.
Krampus needs to upgrade to aluminum baseball bats next year.
Negan’s “Lucille”...
Baseball bats might be a little hard to come by in central Europe.......Cricket bats might suffice.............
I don’t like violence, but I confess to having enjoyed that video.
Kind of look like the Iroqois mask society ... the figures in the Iroquois masks always have a distorted face painted either black or red depending on what time of day the carving of the mask began; they are considered to be charged by the Creator to be healers and defenders of the people from sickness and bad weather.

I think edwinland may have a point actually, for me I found it odd to hear Italian spoken in a supposedly Austrian town. I did hear a woman on the video say in fatti which is Italian (means something like indeed in English).
Now maybe theres some German being spoken on there too, I cant hear other words clearly enough to tell (also I dont know German very well) but I did hear that Italian phrase and given what Edwin posted earlier my strong suspicion now is that the video is not properly described by those who posted it.
It is the will of Krampus!
Krampus ackbar!.............
Thank you!
for later
“Two minutes of research shows that this garbage fake news is total BS and you should be ashamed of yourself for posting it.”
And four minutes of research shows you really don’t know what you’re talking about.
“1. Its Italy, not Austria.”
Actually, if you did more research, you would know that it is Sout Tyrol which was part of Austria until WWI. It is still a German speaking area, but has - for the last 100 years - belonged to Italy against the will of the South Tyrolese.
“2. Its a strange local Italian tradition where young Italians dress up like Krampus and run around hitting random people with bendable branches.”
It’s an AUSTRIAN-BAVARIAN custom/tradition. It is NOT practiced by Italians. Krampus is a German name, not Italian. You proved this is Austrian and not Italian with the video you posted.
“Heres a sample from 2010:”
The video text is in SOUTH TYROLESE and NOT ITALIAN. Everyone in the video is speaking the South Tyrloese dialect of German. Hence, they use a South Tyrolese version of Teuffel Tag (devil’s day) in the opening credits or whatever you want to call the opening text.
All the people attacked by the Krampus in the video posted with the thread were black. They were not South Tyrolese. The Krampus also kicked one man they swatted who went to the ground. I think that shows this was about real animus and not swatting people as mere Teuffel Tag high jinks.
Thanks Red Badger for posting this.
Isn’t this the same area where Outzi the Iceman was found in a glacier, and Italy and Austria disputed for years as to who owned the body?........................
Yes, Oetzi was found north of Bolzano (in Italian), Bozen (in German). Bolzano is the largest city in the South Tyrol. I only took a long train ride through the South Tyrol but I thought it was one of the most beautiful places on earth. The mountains, valleys, pastures, rivers - incredibly beautiful. The local architecture is quintessentially German Alpine in design - even many of the more modern buildings. The South Tyrolese really love their own region and are fiercely protective of its distinctive features. Sadly, the Italians are slowly ruining it.
By the way, the German speakers and the Ladin speakers (speaking a language close to Latin) get along very well. They have both been there together for well over a millennium after all. It’s the Italians who are often thought of as outsiders.
By the way, I don’t know if you saw this. I thought it was pretty amazing: https://www.livescience.com/13151-otzi-reconstruction-iceman-mummy-copper-age.html
Looks like one of my in-laws...................
The Krampus’ hearts grew three sizes that day.
Give them baseball bats to use next year (and stash a few guys in adjacent houses with guns in case the “migrants” want to get even more frisky).
