Time to start thinking of making a website to run a competition for monument design to honor President Donald Trump. One might think it's best to wait until he's in his 2nd term (which is practically a given) but the discussion needs to start seriously now because he's already done more in 3 years than the past 4 presidents combined. He's risked his life dozens of times, put his fortune and family at risk, sacrificed himself for his country, and never once stopped working harder than any President of our lifetime. He has definitely set a new high to the bar that future presidents must clear.
He needs to be honored, he will be honored, and a discussion of how he will be honored is appropriate. The actual monument will occur after he has left office but serious discussion and planning can start now.
Some preliminary thoughts are the organization that will be advocating and planning should of course be setup as a nonprofit, its website should NOT take donations of any kind but rather pledges that will be called when the National Parks Service gets the authorization to allow contractors to stage crews to chisel and smooth the granite at Rushmore.
The monument design can be open to competition via the website with pledge members voting on which rendering is best and with contractor approval for feasibility.
Since President Trump is one of a kind, he deserves his own mountain.
The Trump Monument should be on the Mall along with the Jefferson, Lincoln and Washington monuments. After a 2nd Trump term as POTUS, a GoFundMe would probably raise more than enough money for something like that.
Rushmore is just fine as it is. Plenty of other options out there.
I say take Stone Mountain in Georgia and chisel off the memorial on it’s face, that would make the liberals go prematurely ecstatic over it and then carve Reagan and Trump onto it, that would cause them to go suicidaly unhinged, then collect their tears to sell and pay for the new carvings.
lolol. Right.
ROFL
I would suggest doing a separate site for a monument to president trump. do an omage to the original mount Rushmore using presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Regan and Trump. my only reason for including Kennedy was to make it bipartisan. the other choice was franklin Roosevelt
TRUMP ON RUSHMORE>>>>>>
I second that motion.
History will demand it, might as well git ‘er done!
I think I heard the mountain can collapse if they try to do more too it.
A giant gilded statue will do.
Trump should have his own city in the state of his choice.
Reagan and Trump should have their own mountainside sculptures built at a location separate but not too far from Mt. Rushmore with room for more if we are ever fortunate enough to get more good people like them. Such people don’t come along often.
One thing I really like about both of them is the Presidency didn’t seem to change either men. It didn’t go to their heads and it didn’t crush them under the weight of the responsibility. It’s like they were born for and prepared their entire lives to handle it even with all the corrupt deep stater’s, dems, and media.
I’m IN - Tell me where to donate
It’s called trolling. The more serious is seems the more anxiety and dementia it produces in the liberal mind.
Modify the proposed Crazy Horse monument into Trump riding a white steed!
That one is a keeper. :)
From what I’ve read over the last 5 decades and remember from a college geology class, is that there is NOT any viable rock face to support a fifth person’s/president’s head. It was explained that while from a distance it looks like there is room for an additional head, the internal structure and cracks in the granite makes putting in a head impossible.
And this explanation was initially given in response to an early call for JFK’s likeness to be carved there, thus this is NOT just “anti-Trump” propaganda. And also when some have called for FDR’s to be added.
I’m happy with the 4 presidents that are currently there. Those 4 presidents have weathered the test of history’s time in their greatness.
All three of those plus Mt. Everest!
