As much as I dislike Joe, I’ve said much the same thing. The unindoctrinated are dying off and the indoctrinated are more and more strident.
It will be ugly. I’m just hoping I pass before it all bottoms out.
“because of demographic changes”
Racist.
> Joe Scarborough: GOP Could Be Doomed Forever After 2020 <
Thats an ugly prediction. But hes right. The last chance to reverse this was in 2017 and 2018, when the GOP had both houses of Congress and the presidency.
But nothing was done to curb ruinous illegal immigration. Add to that the GOPs total inability to sell a conservative message, and its bye-bye to the Republic.
Im guessing that by 2028 all presidential elections will be decided in the Democrat primaries.
What the Democrats don't seem to understand is that blacks and Hispanics love America and don't want to see it destroyed. And they are quite capable of looking past the deceptive rhetoric of the left, and know that their policies will ruin our country.
Because if there’s one thing that needs to happen, America needs to be more like Mexico - or any other third world country.
He might be right. We conservatives need to make sure we get up off our asses and make sure that doesn’t happen.
Scarborough’s Prediction = Buy Studebaker Stock
To me, this was the defining moment for America in the last decade:
'Black Lives Matter' protest in San Diego (November 2014)
This captures the essence of modern America perfectly. The video clip shows a bunch of young, mostly white, misfits and losers blocking Interstate 5 in San Diego ... and being confronted by a crowd of angry motorists comprised mostly of Hispanics and Asians (including one particularly vocal BLACK man) -- who are telling the police to get the @ssholes off the road so they can get to work.
Immigration and demographics aren't the problem here.
The problem is that we can't send these white @ssholes to the countries where these immigrants came from.
Remarkable as it may seem, the GOP House majority in 2015-2016 was larger than what we saw even after the transformational "tidal wave" elections of 1994 that saw them regain control of the House for the first time in decades.
...and the rest of America will look just like California.
The doom will come because Millenials are persisting in their love affair with socialism way past age 30.
Good post yours. To which Id add this quote:
A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
Alexander Fraser Tytler
Somebody is doomed by the 2020 elections, and it ain’t the Republicans, Joe.
Trump gets another term, and the progressives are not going to have a shot at overturning the Federal court system for a generation at least, maybe two.
Of course, any time, the Democrats can straighten up and fly right, if they want to prove they are worthy of US citizenship.
Actually, I think he's right. Old fart conservatives like me, who believe in the Constitution, are dying off and being replaced with kids being indoctrinated in high schools and colleges.
It's incredibly ironic that leftist Roger Water wrote these lyrics back in 1979: "We don't need no education, we don't need no thought control ... Hey, TEACHER, leave them kids alone".
Scarborough in 2004 insisted John Kerry would win by a landslide after bringing aboard John Edwards as a running mate. Joe is a friggin’ idiot, completely devoid of anything resembling critical thinking.
That's true, but it's a big IF, and they're so indoctrinated that it's hard to see it happening.
Yeah because the GOP E is populated by corrupt losers like you Joe. Trump is our last hope
> America has been dealing with a flood of new immigrants for years. <
True. But Im basing my sad prediction (post #43) on California. It is, I think, a model for where the rest of the country is slowly drifting.
Will California ever turn Republican again? That would be very, very unlikely. And thats the problem. GOP states turn reliably Democrat. But Democrat states dont turn reliably GOP.
