Given the source, I’m skeptical, but given Elizabeth Warrens’ temperament I say we dig up old Julius and Ethel and execute them again, just to make sure they and their ideology are good and dead. That should make all their fellow travelers clutch their pearls.

Julius Rosenberg, an engineer and a smart guy, had been running a substantial industrial espionage ring for several years before the Los Alamos connection fell into his lap. (If it "fell;" I would like to know whether it was arranged.) This is not in question. Since it establishes Rosenberg's guilt beyond all doubt, liberal and leftist "historians," propagandists and commentators invariably decline to visit that part of the story, and concentrate instead solely on the Manhattan Project episode.
Julius and Ethel were both red diaper babies. They came up through the communist youth groups and communist student groups in college. They were card carrying, dues paying members of the party. (I don't recall if they dropped that open affiliation when they started spying.) Communism was their religion. The CPUSA was their church. Joseph Stalin was their pope. They were true believers. They lived their lives in utter commitment to their faith, and in the end, they died willingly for it. Any recounting of their story should acknowledge their complete consistency.

After criminal/traitor is put to death, you probably can’t pardon them.
You might ask for exoneration.
