Twice in his first two years as New Jerseys governor, Phil Murphy tried to raise income taxes on millionaires to funnel more money into the state budget for education, transportation, and public-worker pensions.
And twice, his fellow Democrats who lead the state Legislature told him no, saying the Garden State is already over-taxed.

DOA. Fellow Democrats hate him. Its going nowhere.
Millionaires would hate to leave freezing New Jersey—but they would just have to bite the bullet and do it...
;-)
Evidently he believes Joisey has too many billionaires.
That can be fixed.
Lol. There are more tax friendly states not far south of the Petrochemical State. Millionaires can vote with their feet more easily than the middle class.

He has a business that does most of its operations in Kalifornia, but its incorporated in Florida. It’s interesting watching these States cut their own throats.
I was born in NJ
Damn Yankee by birth,

Something like this passed in Maryland during the OweMalley administration; it ended up costing the state millions as people affected by the tax left the state, taking all of their tax dollars with them.
Please don’t.

Another job booster for Florida realtors. How considerate of him.
Goal for New Jersey’s millionaires....
.... contact Realtor in Florida.
Im convinced this dope is a paid shill for the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce. You know you are a pathetic loser and a political misfit when DEMOCRATS have spent the last two years telling you to get your head out of your ass because your tax and spending schemes are chasing taxpayers away.
Florida, a state that is becoming overpopulated anyway.

Massachusetts does this.
Millionaires say a big goal for 2020 is leaving N.J.
“Florida, a state that is becoming overpopulated anyway.”
Florida is overpopulated. I think we have more people than New York. Traffic is awful.
We’ll build new mansions for New Jersey millionaires though.
