Up until now, President Obama has said he knew nothing about the FBI bid to destroy his political rival, Donald J.Trump, as evidenced in the newly released and mighty critical Inspector General, report.
Back in August 2016, Obama said:
"I do not talk to the attorney general about pending investigations. I do not talk to FBI directors about pending investigations," he insisted.
"I guarantee that there is no political influence in any investigation conducted by the Justice Department or the FBI -- not just in this case, but in any case. FULL STOP. PERIOD. Guaranteed. Nobody gets treated differently when it comes to the Justice Department," he said.
Today, Obama's claim is in tatters. Julie Kelly of the Federalist, found references within the new IG report that Obama was briefed on the gamy investigation, and knew all about it all along.
Former FBI Director James Comey briefed President Barack Obama about the investigation into Donald Trump’s campaign before the 2016 election, according to a report released today by the Justice Department’s inspector general.
When we asked Comey about meetings with the White House concerning Crossfire Hurricane, he said that although he did not brief the White House about the investigation, he did mention to President Obama and others at a meeting in the Situation Room that the FBI was trying to determine whether any U.S. person had worked with the Russians in their efforts to interfere in the 2016 U.S. election. Comey said he thought it was important that the President know the nature of the FBI’s efforts without providing any specifics. Comey said although he did not recall exactly what he said, he may have said there were four individuals with ‘some association or connection

Of course he knew. This sham impeachment is just the tip of the iceberg. We need the Senate to take this up as a trial so they can call the witnesses that need to testify but didn’t due to the House kangaroo court. The dims have handed us a once in a lifetime opportunity to get the whole coup out into the light of day. We need to make sure that the Senate follows through on this .
Nothing will come of it. Best that will happen is Trump gets re-elected and the swamp draining increases exponentially ...
Obama enjoys a lifetime presidential retirement package at tax payer expense. That should be taken away if he was to be found guilty of committing a crime while he was in office. That would be some justice at least.

Although I still remain optimistic, it does seem like (when chasing Democrats) there is a requirement for a “Perry Mason” moment when the accused will jump up in court and shout “That’s right! I did it!!” But without such a confession in front of a judge, there’s not much you can do.
We have all the pieces. It’s laid out for all to see. Bu the bad guys just shake their heads and say “I did nothing wrong” which seems (so far) sufficient to let them skate.
I’m hoping AG Barr plays hardball and basically says, “I don’t actually need your confession. I have actual evidence. And you’re guilty as hell.”

Comey is worried that some notes or - god forbid - a recording of the meeting might turn up. Hence all the weasel wording. "I don't recall, there I may have said something like..." should be interpreted as "I absolutely briefed that in depth and was specific about it and I want to lie about it now but I'm worried I'll get caught so I'll suggest I don't really remember but maybe said something just so I'm covered if it comes out."
Trump sized Comey up pretty well. He knew that this turd would lie through his teeth if he thought he could get away with it but would be scared to do so if he thought there was any chance he'd get caught. That's why Trump tweeted that he might have recorded their meetings in the White House. That kept Comey from lying to congress.
What might be surprising will be the lengths the obamacrats will go to defend their messiah.
They’ve spent lots of time, effort, money and political capital trying to keep these self-evident truths outside the border of our reality.
Well, that border has been breached and their defenses are pending destruction.

I’m optimistic on future prosecution of coup plotters, but I am not hopeful that Obama is exposed. He is just crafty enough to give himself plausible deniability. To go after a former POTUS the prosecution would need a lot more than circumstantial evidence or the word of an underling rolling on him. It would take hard evidence that he was involved in the conspiracy and I doubt he left any behind when he left for Martha’s Vineyard. Maybe their is a paper trail showing he cashed in on the Ukraine slush fund. That’s something to hope for. Why would the Bidens get to grab the cash but not the Obamas?
