One of the more startling developments of the House Intelligence Committees investigation into alleged wrongdoing by President Donald Trump regarding his Ukraine policy was that the chairman of that committee, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), used his committees subpoena power to acquire phone records of another member of Congress.
That member of Congress was his counterpart on the committee, ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes (R-

Doesn’t he have a challanger ????
Typical republipussy
He can’t. That is up to Congress. They are apparently Congressional records.
Agreed. Due to some of his own past statements, positions, or actions, Graham catches a lot of grief here, but we really need to stop eating our own. But, Graham needs some serious help with his public statement prep so as not to look like he's accepting Schiff's shenanigans as permissible.
Lynsgay doesn’t get elected by conservative or Republican votes. He is elected by liberals who live around the state capital & the lower part of the state, around Charleston. He never carries the conservative upper part of the state....where he is from! He can’t even carry his hometown!
He should subpoena all documents and phone records of Schiffs gathering of the phone recorders
Graham's not going to play their game. Rudy's phone calls proved nothing except the underhand methods of the Dems. And remember, Rudy is an attorney but still an ordinary citizen.
This is one reason why I fear the senate hearing! The rats are going to roast the spineless republicans and the sad part about, the republicans will love it!! They want trump out! Didn’t you noticed it when Trump introduced McConnell to his audience at the rally? McConnell spoke for 10 seconds and dashed off the stage lickety-split! He does not want to be associated with Trump. He will be more than happy to get rid of him ..his cash flow is from China and Trump is about to shut off the Spicket! The president has many senator enemies from our side!! SO NUKE THE SOB HILL!! It’s no longer about the American people but it’s about THEIR POCKETS! NUKE THE SON OF B out of the orbit!! It doesn’t work anymore!!
Its time to cross the Rubicon. NO more playing nice with Marxists and swamp monsters.
Do they still make blackberries?
Life time GOP party ticket voter to Graham: I have no “desire” to vote for anybody on my ballot with an (R) behind their name.
Sure, I’ll happily vote for POTUS but that’s it. I’m done. I’m not interested in supporting a party that defacto endorses the police state tactics of Schiff and Mueller.
If there is a trial in the Senate, then the President’s lawyers will then be able to subpoena Schiff-face’s phone records, the phone records his staff, and those of the whistle-blower and his lawyer.
No they won’t. McConnell makes the rules and won’t allow it.
When we are living in a dictatorship, those who remember this POS will curse his name.
Agreed. Due to some of his own past statements, positions, or actions, Graham catches a lot of grief here, but we really need to stop eating our own
Your mistake is assuming Graham is “ours.” Provably, he is not. He could not have been more supportive of the coup these past 3 years. Sorry but it is what it is.
Gee, Lindsey ... have you considered even for a moment that a high priority in your position as Senate Judiciary Committee chairman is to protect our Republic and our Constitution from those who are working hard to undermine through their attempted coup d’etat?
We all knew this was coming.
Linda wanted to head this committee to block the investigation from implicating McCain, Flake, Romney and himself.
I think Graham has some skeletons in his own closet. But he has been supportive of Trump and he is a reliable vote. Thats all.
It can be. That's how abuse of the cloture rule was resolved. The GOP started doing the same abuse that the DEMs did, until Harry Reid changed application of the rule so it could no longer be abused vis-a-vis nominations.
The best way to get rid of an unfair law is to enforce it to the hilt.
I see it as a self-defense principle. If somebody attacks me with force of violence, illegally, I am darn well going to use force of violence to defend myself.
The GOP’s ability to not fight and enable tyranny at the same time is really rather striking.
